Chantel and Pedro have issues when it comes to each other’s family members

Unfortunately for Chantel and Pedro, their families don’t get along, which causes a lot of tension between them. Not to mention neither of them seems to have a good relationship with the other’s family members either. It feels like only yesterday that Pedro and Chantel’s brother River had an altercation at the dinner table.

A Reddit user asked, “Are Chantel and Pedro a joke?” A number of fans chimed in with their own thoughts on the matter. “Now that they have The Family Chantel show I wonder if it’s all fake now. They’re fighting is back and forth about the same things all the time. What do you guys think?” the Reddit user asked.

Numerous fans responded and a lot of them think the show and its spinoffs involving the couple could be scripted in some way. One fan describes it as feeling “too staged.”

“It all feels way too staged now,” a Reddit user commented. “With the spinoff happening and basically being more of the same it’s evident the drama is created and maintained. It was fun at first but now it’s played out.”

Another fan feels like the whole relationship seems “fake.” They even have a hard time watching because of it. “Their relationship seems very fake to me, I have a hard time watching it tbh,” the fan pointed out.

More fans of the series seem to agree that the situation with Chantel and Pedro is “scripted.” “It’s def scripted and my guess is that they will have a baby soon,” the fan theorized.

‘This show has to be scripted’

One fan only watched for a few minutes and figured the situation must be “scripted.” It’s hard to imagine any relationship having that much drama on a consistent basis, which seems to be the case for Chantel and Pedro.

“Oh my goodness I can’t agree more about this being fake now. I’m finally watching the first episode and not 10 minutes in I’m telling myself this show has to be scripted,” they wrote.

Some fans straight up skip Chantel and Pedro’s scenes or get up for a quick snack. “I literally can’t watch them anymore rehashing the same fight over and over and over again. I take a snack break during their segments,” a fan admitted.

Another fan agrees that things look “fake,” however, they believe the famous dinner fight between Chantel’s brother River and Pedro was real. “I agree that most of their stuff looks fake, except the fight between River and Pedro. There was real tension there,” a fan wrote.
