’90 Day Fiancé’: Elizabeth Potthast Castravet Reveals Whether Andrei Castravet Has a ‘Soft Side’
Andrei Castravet and Elizabeth Potthast Castravet have been more active on social media – especially Instagram and YouTube – than ever before during the fifth season of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.
This season, Andrei’s drama with Elizabeth’s family escalated during the couple’s second wedding in Andrei’s home country of Moldova. But, by all appearances, Andrei and Elizabeth are still going strong as a couple and as parents to their young daughter, Eleanor.
Elizabeth and Andrei recently took to Instagram to answer 90 Day Fiancé fans’ questions about various topics, including their relationship, their views on tattoos, and the notoriously gruff Andrei’s “soft side.”
The ’90 Day Fiancé’ pair took fans’ questions on their Instagram stories
Before Part 2 of the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After Tell-All on October 4, Elizabeth asked fans to submit questions via her Instagram stories for an informal Q&A.
In addition to sharing that she and Andrei have “similar taste in food” and the same favorite dishes – crab legs and steak – Elizabeth opened up about her breastfeeding journey.
Recently, the 30-year-old mom received both a wealth of support and significant backlash for posting a photo of herself breastfeeding little Eleanor (Ellie) in her bridal gown during her wedding in Moldova. She and her sisters also breastfed their babies during an afternoon at the pool on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, so it’s likely that breastfeeding means a lot to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth told 90 Day Fiancé fans that she stopped breastfeeding Eleanor not long after her first birthday.
“No, breastfeeding days are over,” the 90 Day Fiancé star said, adding a caption about breast milk being “liquid gold.” “I stopped when Eleanor was about 14 months, almost. It was a mutual thing. It actually wasn’t as hard as I thought it was gonna be, and she transitioned really well to whole milk.”
The couple also answered questions about tattoos
One 90 Day Fiancé fan wanted to know if Andrei and Elizabeth had any tattoos. Elizabeth explained that they didn’t – but her husband wanted one.
“We do not have any tattoos, and I don’t believe that I would get any,” Elizabeth told the fan.
“I’m getting one!” Andrei chimed in.
“No, he’s not,” Elizabeth retorted playfully.
“I am,” Andrei insisted, to which Elizabeth delivered another sarcastic “no.”
Elizabeth explained that she’d certainly considered getting a tattoo, but she was worried she would change her mind about the design after already being permanently inked.
The 90 Day Fiancé star revealed in a previous Q&A that she also didn’t have (or plan on getting) any Botox, fillers, or plastic surgery, so it’s likely that she prefers a more natural look and lifestyle.
Andrei and Elizabeth also answered questions about their relationship
Naturally, some 90 Day Fiancé fans also had questions about Elizabeth and Andrei’s relationship. One viewer wanted to know how long the couple had been together.
Elizabeth posed the question to her husband. “Baby, do you know how long we’ve been together?” she asked him.
“No idea,” he replied. “Seems like a century to me.”
“That sounds awful,” Elizabeth laughed. The 90 Day Fiancé star explained that they’d been together for a total of five years and married for nearly three. In fact, their third wedding anniversary was coming up soon.
One viewer also wanted to know if Andrei was always the dominant alpha male fans are used to seeing on the show.
“Baby, do you have a soft side?” Elizabeth asked Andrei.
Without hesitation, Andrei said he did have a weak spot – for Eleanor.
“Yes, my daughter,” he said, grinning widely.
“Ellie does make him a huge teddy bear, I won’t lie,” Elizabeth agreed. “But of course he does. He’s super sweet.”
That answer probably wouldn’t shock many viewers who followed the couple online, but it might surprise some fans who only see them on TLC. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans have commented on how different – and how much more relaxed and romantic – Andrei often seems to be on social media.
