‘90 Day Fiancé’: Evelin Villegas Calls Off Wedding and Asks Corey Rathgeber for a Divorce
On 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Evelin Villegas tells her husband, Corey Rathgeber, that she no longer wants a wedding ceremony with him. In light of Corey telling her the truth regarding his relationship with Jenny, Evelin wants him to sign divorce papers. Evelin tells Corey to pack up his stuff and get out of her house.
Corey reveals the truth about his relationship with Jenny
On the October 10th episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Corey finally reveals the truth about his relationship with Jenny. He comes clean to her about what happened while they were separated. “It wasn’t actually just a one-night thing with Jenny. It was more serious than I led you on to believe.” He explained, “We were in a relationship. She was my girlfriend.”
Evelin is mad at him for denying the relationship. Corey had told her it was a four-day affair and that he never had sex with Jenny. Evelin says, “You are not the man I met years ago.” Corey asks for her forgiveness, but Evelin wants nothing to do with it. She says, “I would really appreciate if you take all your stuff and leave.”
Evelin calls off wedding and asks Corey for a divorce
Evelin explains, “Corey f—ed up. He f—ed up big time.” She says, “He did exactly what he knew was gonna hurt me. He lied to me during months.” Evelin revealed that lying is what caused her to not trust him. She continues, “He created more lies to cover the other lies. I cannot take this anymore, so I need a divorce.”
The morning after Corey revealed everything to Evelin, they had a discussion. Evelin says that since all of the lies, Evelin can’t tell the difference between “what is real and what’s not.” She tells him, “If you think I’m going to put up with you anymore, you’re crazy because there’s no more wedding, there’s no more nothing, and now I’m screwed because I told my mom. And my whole family is going to hate the idea of divorce.”
Evelin threatens to call the cops on Corey if he doesn’t leave
Evelin says that she can’t trust Corey at all anymore. Corey can tell how upset Evelin is and asks her if they can talk about it later. Evelin tells him, “This is the only time I’m talking to you. After this, I’m not talking.” She tells Corey, “I’m not staying with you. And I told you last night, I told you, grab your bags, pack up your things because I’m not gonna put up with this anymore. So leave, it’s easy, you can just book a flight and go.”
In the preview for next week’s episode, which will air on October 17th, Evelin tells Corey if he doesn’t leave, she will call the police on him. She says, “I want you gone. Are you gonna sign the divorce papers?” Corey tells the cameras, “If Evelin serves me with divorce papers right now, I’ll rip them up in her face.” She tells him, “I don’t want this to be nasty. I don’t want to have police involved. But I will do that if you don’t leave.
Right now, it seems that Evelin and Corey’s relationship is over. Evelin called off the wedding and wants a divorce, Corey, however, is still holding on to hope. Is there a future for Corey and Evelin? 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans will have to continue watching season 3 to find out if this couple makes it or not.
