’90 Day Fiancé’: Evelin Villegas Posts About Body Positivity, Fans Point Out Hypocrisy
90 Day Fiancé fans don’t let the show’s castmates get away with anything. Evelin Villegas recently fell under scrutiny after a post promoting body positivity. Corey Rathgeber shared the post, something many fans found ironic given how Villegas treated Rathgeber when it came to his own weight. To make matters muddier, Villegas and Rathgeber allegedly split up recently. However, the two are stuck together in quarantine, and are behaving as if they’re still together. Like a few other 90 Day Fiancé couples, Villegas and Rathgeber seem to split up and get back together fairly often, leaving fans wondering where they stand now.

90 Day Fiancé fans are used to seeing their fair share of on-again-off-again relationships born from the show. Evelin Villegas and Corey Rathgeber definitely fall under this category — the two have said they’re splitting up only to get back together again several times.
Now, it seems as if the two are off again, according to Evelin Villegas. Despite that, they are still stuck together in quarantine, and Villegas claims they will continue to be close friends.
In an Instagram story, Evelin Villegas wrote, “Just a quick updated now that the ‘[What Now]’ is up, Corey and I broke up. We are stuck in quarantine together but that’s just it. We are friends and always will. Have a good day [sic].”
However, not all fans were convinced. One fan wrote, “Don’t worry they’ll be back together next week and Raul will be quarantined along with them.”
A Redditor joked, “Give them 5 minutes.”

Regardless of the post Evelin Villegas made about splitting up, Corey Rathgeber and Evelin Villegas still post about one another on their Instagram accounts. In fact, Corey Rathgeber recently shared a video created by Villegas about body positivity.
In the video, the 90 Day Fiancé star suggests that women should choose something about their body that makes them feel beautiful, and that self-love is important. She explained, “I want you to go to a mirror, look at yourself, and find out what is the favorite part of your body. What makes you feel sexy and makes you feel pretty. Mine, for example, are these dots on my chest.”
“If we feel pretty outside we feel pretty inside, if we feel pretty inside, we feel pretty outside,” explained Villegas.
She captioned her video, “A challenge worth doing. Go ahead and do it, tag me in your stories of you talking about what is your favorite part of your body . We all deserve to feel beautiful and sexy. Much love.”
‘90 Day Fiancé’ fans react
90 Day Fiancé fans have been pointing out the hypocrisy in Evelin Villegas’ video given how she used to treat Corey Rathgeber in regards to his own weight. When Rathgeber gained weight following his father’s death, Villegas repeatedly told him he needed to lose those extra pounds pronto. Fans accused her of body shaming at the time.
One Reddit user wrote, “This from the woman that criticized her boyfriend/husband/whatever he is for being over weight when he is a healthy weight?”
“Evelin can be positive about her body, but [Corey] needs to lose the muffin top. Okay,” added another.
“But when you tell your man he’s overweight that’s ok?” asked an Instagram user on Villegas’ video.
