90 Day Fiancé fans are somewhat divided when it comes to Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee. On one hand, some fans are just happy to see what seems to be a relationship without too much fighting so far — and they’re especially happy to see Jihoon Lee really stepping up to the idea of becoming a father.

However, on the other hand, there are fans who are not happy with Deavan Clegg’s parenting habits. Clegg’s daughter, Drascilla, is notably active and energetic. Many fans have been leaving comments on Instagram attempting to call out Clegg for what they perceive as bad parenting — calling into question certain aspects of Drascilla’s behavior and rearing.

Drascilla’s bad habits

90 Day Fiancé fans were shocked when they saw some of Drascilla’s “wild child” behavior. When Jihoon Lee and Deavan Clegg were first introduced on the show, fans saw Drascilla run across countertops, and even throw a bowl from a cabinet.

Drascilla also ran around the airport and rolled on the floor when Clegg met up with Jihoon Lee at the Las Vegas airport. Fans have also pointed out that Drascilla, who is three years old, is still drinking from a bottle on occasion.

Additionally, Deavan Clegg revealed to Jihoon Lee that it might be hard for them to find time together in bed. When Lee and Clegg reunited in a Las Vegas hotel room, Lee learned very quickly that Drascilla sleeps with Clegg — often.

“She has to sleep in the middle tonight,” Clegg told Lee in the hotel room.

“When I watch the American movies, daughter and son, they has a bed. Dad say good night. Goodnight kiss, and another room,” said Lee, expressing his confusion.

Fans rip into Deavan Clegg’s parenting

Since they debuted on TLC, fans have been ripping Deavan Clegg apart for how she parents Drascilla. Some feel that she allows Drascilla too much freedom, while others think she coddles Drascilla by letting her sleep in their bed, and by giving her a bottle.

One fan wrote, “She is out of control that child. The Mom just let’s her do whatever. I have never seen her discipline the child.”

Another fan wrote, “A bottle at 3 and sleeping in your bed are both so outrageous and unacceptable. That’s not okay. You have to teach your children appropriate age level things to move them along in life. You’re labeled a bad mother now. Plus having a baby with a stranger also shows your bad judgment. Leaving a good job for an immature man too…what is wrong in your head? It’s not cute. It’s disturbing.”

One Instagram user added, “The child is a brat, but it’s Devans fault. Obviously zero parenting there. Mom better start setting up rules now so the kid doesn’t get even more obnoxious.”

Deavan Clegg fires back

The 90 Day Fiancé star isn’t going it lying down, however. She was fully prepared to fire back on all the haters.

Clegg wrote on Instagram, “For people calling my daughter rude inappropriate names that I can’t even repeat, grow up. She’s three years old she’s still a baby don’t be calling her names that you hear in R-rated movies grow up, she’s the most amazing little girl who is the best big sister. I don’t let comments get to me. But seeing grown adults say mean r rated words about three-year-old is not acceptable.”

Clegg also posted an image of herself as a child, captioning it with, “I grew up being able to be free and run around and enjoy my childhood. I had messy hair and mismatched clothes, because my mother let me freely choose the outfit I wanted to wear, which I loved. And I let Drascilla do the same thing. Because I loved my childhood and remember fun good times. Drascilla is my world and we do so many fun things together. I work full time to make sure she has everything she wants and needs. She’s my little twin.”

Other Instagram users had Clegg’s back. One fan wrote, “Mom, you are simply gorgeous. Now you have a beautiful new baby, your daughter is precious and this will help balance your life. Never mind the heaters, and the meds they are suggesting have more negative effects then they know. It’s a challenge raising children and everyone has the answer. You are growing and learning through this process. The Lord will guide you. I pray your new life is filled with love, to be shared with your new family. Continue doing your best, life is stuff, but continue to be strong. You got this.”

Many other users echoed similar sentiments, backing up Clegg’s defense.
