’90 Day Fiancé’: Fans Are Upset with Nicole Nafziger Over An Instagram Post
Going on a reality show doesn’t necessarily guarantee that you will have a flourishing career in television. For a lot of stars, a few years in the limelight is all a reality show warrants. Because of this, the stars of 90 Day Fiancé tend to find other ways to make money after their seasons air. The most popular ones sign with agencies and reps who run their social media accounts and handle their media engagements. One of the most popular ways to make money after 90 Day Fiancé is to create sponsored posts on Instagram. But sometimes those posts aren’t exactly tasteful. Nicole Nafziger has been guilty of this on more than one occasion and now fans are sick of it.
What did Nicole do?
Nafziger has been known to post clickbait on her Instagram with questions urging her followers to “swipe up” to find out the answers. Normally, her clickbait posts have something to do with her relationship with her boyfriend Azan Tefou. The two haven’t been on the best of terms for a while so fans are always wondering about the status of their relationship.
But recently, Nafziger uploaded a post that had nothing to do with her. She shared a photo of her in tears with the caption, “RIP #LinkinBio.”
When fans actually clicked through to see what the link was about, they saw that the article was about the passing of 90 Day star Angela Deem’s mom. The article was published in February so it wasn’t even new information. Using the death of someone’s loved one to make money for yourself is a low move, one that fans were not going to let go unnoticed.
The comments on Nafziger’s photo got so bad that she turned them off and now people can no longer comment under the photo.
Nicole and Azan’s story
Tefou and Nafziger appeared on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé. During the season, Nafziger flew to Morocco to be with Tefou. Unfortunatley Tefou never seemed happy to be with her. After Nafziger went back to America, she went years without seeing Tefou.
“They have no plans for a wedding,” a source told RadarOnline. “He can’t get a visa. She’s talked about going back to Morocco, but she doesn’t have money. She has to save.”
And things weren’t exactly great between them.
“They still talk occasionally, but there have been a lot of fights between them on the phone,” the source continued.
Now, the two are supposedly quarantining together in Morocco after the COVID-19 pandemic caused countries to close their borders.
What do fans think of Nicole?
Not only are fans upset with Nafziger for using Deem’s mother’s death for profit but they are not happy about her leaving her daughter May to go be with Tefou, either.
When she posted a picture of May at Disney World with her aunt, fans were sure to let Nafziger know what they thought.
“Disney things won’t fill the void of your absence,” one person commented. You’re always choosing Azan over everything.”
“At least someone is taking care of her and spoiling her, unlike you who abandoned her to be in Morocco with your fiancé,” another person wrote.
“Can’t believe you left her for so long,” one fan said. “At least she has an auntie and grandmother to spoil her.”
