’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Blast Big Ed Brown Over His Latest Attention-Grabbing Stunt
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Ed “Big Ed” Brown may have just tried to pull a fast one on fans. Big Ed recently lit his notebook on fire during an Instagram Live post and tried to play it off as an accident. Fans, however, were not buying the stunt and slammed Big Ed for trying to grab some attention once again.

Big Ed drew a lot of criticism during his time on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Many viewers took issue with how he treated Rose Vega, especially when it came to his insensitive comments about her appearance/hygiene and his lying about not wanting to have children.
Rose and Big Ed have continued their feud on social media since the end of the season. While Rose has called Big Ed a liar, he has fired several shots at her, many of which echo his sentiments on the show.
Taking to Instagram, the 90 Day Fiancé star decided to hit back at online trolls by reading some of their most-hateful comments. The video was filmed inside Big Ed’s home and it started out fairly normal until the fire.
At one point, Big Ed leaned forward with his notebook in hand and held it above a lit candle. He acted like he didn’t realize the notebook was near the flame, and it only took a few seconds before the pages caught fire.
But Big Ed’s reaction to the fire was very slow. In fact, he didn’t get up until the flames had gotten so big that they consumed the entire notebook.

Viewers may have felt bad for Big Ed at first glance, but it didn’t take long for fans to speculate that the entire video was a setup. And viewers had pretty sound logic on why they thought the video was fake.
For starters, Big Ed didn’t show any sense of spatial awareness as he leaned forward with his notebook. It almost appeared as though he was dangling the pages above the flame, that or he completely forgot that there was an open flame right under his nose.
Secondly, Big Ed’s reaction was far too slow. As the flames grew higher, you can actually see a red hue on his face long before he reacts. 90 Day Fiancé fans pointed out that it was almost as if he was waiting for the notebook to be completely engulfed in flames before making a move.
Viewers also suspected that Big Ed was just trying to manufacture some drama. And considering how everyone reacted to his stunt, the tactic clearly paid off. The only problem is that the distrust for Big Ed has grown even deeper following the incident.
Rose shocks ’90 Day Fiancé’ fans with her latest claims
Although Rose very clearly ditched Big Ed shortly after they met in the Philippines, she claimed that he reached out after their breakup and asked for virtual sex.
During the first part of the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days tell-all, Rose revealed that Big Ed told her that he would pay her to get naked in front of the camera. She was in need of money at the time and slammed Big Ed for laying “a trap” for her.
Big Ed, of course, vehemently denied calling Rose and asking her to strip for him. He assured viewers that Rose was making the entire story up, despite the fact that he admitted that he tried to rekindle things after his disastrous trip.
The 90 Day Fiancé star went on to claim that Rose sent him some sexy photos after she broke up with another woman. Rose did not comment on those allegations, but she did later confirm that she is in a relationship with a woman.
We cannot confirm that Big Ed actually reached out to Rose for some sex videos, but the allegations are not that far-fetched given his behavior on the show.
