Some ’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Blast Paola Mayfield for Racy Pic With Baby Son
90 Day Fiancé fans either love or hate Paola Mayfield. And given Mayfield’s willingness to buy into conspiracy theories and pseudoscience, there’s been a lot more hate than love these days. Now, Mayfield says she’s returning to the franchise — something some fans aren’t too thrilled about. What’s more, many fans are calling her out for posting racy photos with her son, a practice they find disturbing.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ star says she’s coming back to the franchise
90 Day Fiancé sees plenty of series regulars come and go. Darcey Silva, for example, has appeared on the franchise several times, as have Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima. So perhaps it’s not too far fetched to think Paola Mayfield may make a return with her husband, Russ Mayfield.
During an Instagram Q&A, a fan asked Mayfield, “Would you consider being on another 90 day show? Love you.”
“We will be back. We are the OGs. Thank you,” wrote Mayfield in return.
However, Mayfield hasn’t given any additional information about a potential return just yet. It’s not clear whether or not this is wishful thinking or a hint at an actual upcoming spinoff or reappearance. Some fans, however, aren’t overly thrilled.
“Nooooooooooo! No. Just NO. Please, please, please TLC… don’t bring [Russ] and Pao back. Not them! Anyone but them! In Debbie fashion, I say, ‘I’m done!I’m done!’” joked one Redditor.
“[S]he shouldn’t take pride in being an OG because she is literally the worst cast member to ever appear on the show. If the majority of people who watch the show hates and wants you off the show, I wouldn’t be happy to announce that I am an OG. Also, why is TLC still working with them with their outrageous views of Covid-19 and vaccination?” asked another user.
Some ‘90 Day Fiancé’ fans slam Paola Mayfield
Some 90 Day Fiancé fans have been busy hating on Paola Mayfield for her anti-vax beliefs and her COVID-19 conspiracy theories. Now, they’ve found another behavior to focus on — the photos she takes with her son.
One Redditor screencapped one of Mayfield’s Instagram stories in which she’s playing with her son while wearing minimal clothing and posing for the camera.
“Maybe I’m old-fashioned but is this a normal photo to post of you playing with your kid?” they asked.
The comments on the post seemed equally confused by the photo, and others pointed out that this isn’t the first time Mayfield has done something like this.
“Omfg what’s up with her thirst trap photos with her kid?! So weird!” pointed out one commenter.
One user pointed out that her racy outfit and her son were two very disparate and bizarre things to include in the same photo.
“Is she trying to evoke a sexual response in men who are also looking at her infant son?” they asked.
“Sometimes I feel bad for her. She is so desperate for attention she has to pretend that playing with your son in a bikini at home is somehow normal,” wrote another frustrated user.
