’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Blast Steven for Pushing Dog With Foot
90 Day Fiancé fans aren’t very fond of Steven, with many hoping that Alina soon chooses to call off the entire relationship. Their feelings of dislike for the 90 Day Fiancé star only increased after a recent episode that featured Steven pushing a dog away from him in public. To make matters worse, Steven also managed to ruin a wine tasting date with Alina by telling her he’d been lying about his sexual history.
Steven shooed away dog during date with Alina
90 Day Fiancé star Steven is not winning over any friends in the audience given his behavior on the show. Steven and Alina met on a language app, and have since moved to Turkey to try out living together before finalizing their relationship with marriage.
Steven and Alina have been keeping themselves “pure” by not having sex. The problem is that Steven lied to Alina about being a virgin. What’s more, he asked Alina if he could date other women, claimed he didn’t know they were exclusive while long-distance and suggested he couldn’t control himself around her. All of this is to say that there are red flags galore.
Steven only added to his 90 Day Fiancé strike list by pushing a dog away with his foot. At first blush, it may look like Steven is kicking the dog, given that his foot is on the dog’s butt during the scene. However, he appeared to gently guide it away with his foot, not kick it.
While Steven and Alina were sitting on a park bench, they were approached by three stray dogs.
“Get out of here. We’re having a special moment,” Steven told the dogs, before pushing one of them away with his foot.

90 Day Fiancé fans had a gut reaction to the scene, with many blasting Steven for what they perceived as a kick. Others pointed out that stray dogs can be aggressive and in some countries pervasive, defending his behavior.
“I can almost always excuse some trash behavior, but not when it comes to dogs. F*** this dude,” opined one Redditor.
“I’ll probably get downvoted for this, but having lived in a neighboring country to Turkey, you really don’t want those stray dogs anywhere near you. You don’t want to touch them with your hands, and he didn’t kick the dog, but seemed to gently push it off with his foot,” wrote another user.
There was some contention over just how “dirty” the stray dogs in a country like Turkey are. One user wrote that Turkey is not a “backward third world country” and that “most of the stray dogs here have already been vaccinated” as well as tagged.
Steven spoiled the wine tasting date
The 90 Day Fiancé couple also went on a wine tasting date — a first for Steven, who takes certain aspects of his Mormon faith very seriously. Alina was interested to see him try out wine for the first time, but it wasn’t long before she was feeling a little grossed out.
Steven specifically would not swallow and tasted the wine by probing the glass with his tongue in an uncomfortable way before gargling and aggressively spitting the wine out.
“Watching him taste wine is a little bit awkward,” Alina confessed to producers.
“I come here with my boyfriend, it’s kind of a romantic activity, and now…,” she trailed off. The show cuts to a scene of her telling Steven “this is disgusting” as he spits into a glass.
