‘90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Alarmed by Mike’s ‘Terrifying’ Behavior Toward Ximena After Break Up
On the March 20 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5, Ximena Morales breaks up with her fiance Mike Berk. After that, Mike refuses to leave Ximena’s house. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans are alarmed by Mike’s “terrifying” behavior.
Mike refuses to leave Ximena’s home after their break up
Since the beginning of their year and a half long relationship, Mike agreed to help out Ximena financially. However, now that Ximena wants to break up, Mike wants all his stuff back. He tells her, “Anything I paid for, I wanna take back with me to New York.”
Ximena replies, “If you want to take everything in my house, take it all. I don’t need it. Today our relationship is over. And I’m serious.” She explains that she will no longer be accepting money from Mike.
In the preview for the March 27 episode of Before the 90 Days, Mike shows a different side of himself. Ximena tells him, “This relationship is over, no more.” He tells her, “This only reinforces the fact that you were using me for money because right now you’re cold and calculating.”
She tells him, “Don’t send me money, don’t do anything. You’re going to sleep in a hotel.” He tells her, “I paid the rent in this house, so I’m not leaving.” As Mike runs up the stairs, Ximena yells at him, “You’re leaving now!” Mike tells the cameras, “She’s a mean, evil, cold b****.”
’90 Day Fiancé’ fans call Mike’s behavior ‘terrifying’
After the episode aired, 90 Day Fiancé fans immediately saw Mike not respecting Ximena’s wishes to leave her house as alarming. One fan wrote via Reddit, “All the people defending Mike by saying, ‘but Ximena also used him,’ you guys kill me.”
They continued, “It doesn’t f***ing matter if she used him or not. If a woman tells you she no longer wants you in her home, you leave her home. You don’t f***ing hold her hostage. Jesus. You guys. What Mike is doing is terrifying and there is absolutely no excuse for it.”
Many fans agree with this sentiment. One fan commented, “it’s very weird for mike to stay in her home and use his paying of rent as an excuse to be there, its not. no person should stay in another’s house when they want you out, that’s just beyond creepy and probably criminal at that point.”
Mike and Ximena’s break up
Ever since Mike returned to Colombia for his second visit, he and Ximena have failed to connect. So Ximena and Mike go out to play pool, which would turn out to be their last date together.
Mike and Ximena sit down together and he says, “I just want to ask. You don’t love me. You need your space. I just can’t stop thinking that your feelings changed when I stopped saying yes to buying everything.”
Ximena immediately becomes defensive after reading the translation on the phone. She says, “What? You have things that I don’t like. That’s what totally changed my feelings. So, and you still pay my rent, so that’s not it.” She tells him their relationship is over and Mike runs off into the street.
She tells the cameras, “This really offends me. It makes me really angry because a person who loves someone doesn’t say that. He’s humiliating me. He’s throwing things in my face.” She continues, “If Mike thinks that I was only with him for the money, [then] he never really knew me. He really didn’t.”
