’90 Day Fiancé’: Fans Commend Elizabeth for Finally Taking a Stand Against Andrei

Elizabeth finally went off on Andrei and fans are loving it.

What happened between Elizabeth and Andrei?

The moment went down during the couple’s first day in Moldova. Elizabeth had been helping Andrei’s mother prepare breakfast when they all finally sat down to eat.

As they conversed, Elizabeth questioned if his mom cooks every day and if that makes her tired. Though she answered in the affirmative, Andrei mistranslated, telling Elizabeth his mother doesn’t mind because, “This is how it is in Moldova.” Making more comparisons between their cultures, Andrei quipped, “We are more energized.”

“Is that why you have a job? Is that right? You’re a man, right? You’re the head of the household?” she shot back.

“You don’t want to insult me like this in front of my parents,” he warned. “It’s good that they don’t understand it.” But Elizabeth only grew more irritated as he continued to compare their cultures.

“I don’t know what is going on with Andrei since we arrived acting like a chauvinistic Alpha male that talks about Moldovan housewife traditional roles when he lives in America and he’s a stay-at-home dad and I’m the breadwinner,” she vented in a later confessional.

Andrei, however, argued that he was simply telling Elizabeth like it is.

Fans react to Elizabeth calling out Andrei

Knowing all the drama in their relationship, fans were proud to see Elizabeth finally taking a stand and calling out Andrei, who has drawn criticism for his “controlling” personality and inability to get and maintain a job.

One viewer tweeted, “I get why she called him out. Yes, call him out on his BS, by all means.” Another wrote, “Yas! He is such a jerk!!” while someone else added: “It’s about time!”

But other tweets were more critical of Elizabeth. One fan argued, “Andrei has not changed since they were married. Now she realizes he’s a ‘Chauvinistic Alpha Male?’ What is she going to do about it?? She’s enabling him in every since of the word. She allows him to disrespect her and her WHOLE FAMILY!!!!!” A second fan declared, “Elizabeth deserves what she tolerates.”

Overall, though, it seems like a lot of people sided with Elizabeth. Even some of Andrei’s friends took her side in the July 12 episode, saying that he had gone “soft” after moving from Moldova, where he once held a decent job.

The drama between Elizabeth and Andrei mounts in the next episode

Unfortunately, things don’t look any better for these two in a sneek peek of the July 19 episode.

It follows Elizabeth and Andrei as they.head to check out a wedding venue. The visit seemed to be going well up until Elizabeth expressed concern that her family might not like the food that would be supplied. As she repeated her reservations to cameramen who were waiting outside, Andrei interrupted her, which infuriated Elizabeth.

Amid the back-and-forth, Andrei cursed her out, causing Elizabeth to storm away from him. He tried to get her to finish sharing her thoughts, but she never looked back, walking in the opposite direction. Tune in on July 19 to see what happened next.
