’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Continue to Accuse Actors Geoffrey and Mary of Faking the Entire Love Triangle Storyline With Varya
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans are convinced that some fakery is afoot. In season 4 of the popular reality series, Geoffrey Paschel found himself in the middle of a love triangle with his foreign girlfriend, Varya Malina, and his on-and-off-again girlfriend, Mary. While Geoffrey was forced to choose between the two, fans believe that he and Mary faked the entire storyline to create drama on the show.
Fans point out these inconsistencies in Geoffrey and Mary’s story
From the very beginning, 90 Day Fiancé viewers pointed out some important inconsistencies in Geoffrey’s romance with Varya and Mary. For starters, there are contradictory stories about how much Geoffrey and Varya talked after his trip.
Geoffrey says that he stopped talking to Varya altogether after she rejected his proposal in Russia. Varya, however, claims that they kept texting each other. She even revealed that she ask Geoffrey if he would come back to Russia and bring the camera crew with him.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans were left confused about which story to believe. And that’s not the only thing wrong with Geoffrey’s storyline this season.
The series also made it look like Varya jetted off to the United States shortly after Geoffrey left Russia. In reality, several months passed between visits, as Varya had to wait to get her travel visa worked out.
This would have been plenty of time for Geoffrey and Mary to plan out their love triangle story, especially if he knew Varya was thinking about seeing him.
’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ fans learn that Geoffrey is an actor
To cast more doubt on the situation, Geoffrey and Mary have both worked in acting. They haven’t done anything major in Hollywood, but they have appeared on a few TV shows throughout the years.
As a 90 Day Fiancé fan pointed out on Reddit, Geoffrey’s acting resume is filled with cameos on television. This includes an appearance on the Homicide Hunter and a role in a crime show on Investigation Discovery.
If Geoffrey and Mary wanted to pull off a faked scene, they certainly have the acting chops to make it look real — at least real enough for reality TV.
To make things worse, this is not the first time 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days has cast former actors to appear on the series. This has led to a lot of speculation that the franchise fakes romances all the time, though TLC has never acknowledged the rumors.
Did Geoffrey and Mary fake the whole ’90 Day Fiancé’ love triangle?
We cannot confirm that Geoffrey and Mary staged the love triangle to make his story more interesting, but the evidence certainly points in that direction.
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans are convinced that Varya’s surprise visit to Geoffrey’s house wasn’t a surprise at all, especially considering how TLC cameras were on hand to capture the drama unfold. And what are the chances that Geoffrey and Mary would rekindle their romance the night before Varya decided to visit?
As far as the actual scene goes, fans pointed out how Varya’s behavior was a bit out of character. At one point during her argument with Mary, Varya called her a “bit**” instead of swearing at her in Russian.
Varya often struggles with her English, and viewers thought this could have been something producers urged her to say in the heat of the moment.
Has Mary given up on Geoffrey?
While 90 Day Fiancé fans continue to speculate about the validity of Geoffrey’s love triangle, Varya is currently back home in Russia. She is reportedly waiting on her K1 visa application, which will allow her to return to the US and be with Geoffrey.
Geoffrey and Mary, meanwhile, are still hanging out with each other. The two recently posted separate photos of themselves on the same beach, leading to some speculation that they are hanging out now that Varya is out of town.
Unfortunately, Geoffrey and Varya did not take part in the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days tell-all because of the domestic abuse charges that are currently pending against him.
