Victor’s many red flags
In the first few episodes, Ellie has revealed many of Victor’s red flags to 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way audiences. In the August 28th episode, she discussed Victor’s infidelity. She talked to her friend, Hiromi, about Victor having an entire relationship behind her back while they were in a long-distance relationship. Victor’s other girlfriend thought that Ellie was merely an obsessive ex-girlfriend. She asked Ellie to leave them alone to have their relationship.
Next, Ellie revealed that Victor has a criminal past. “He told me that nine years ago, he got a domestic violence charge for an incident between him and his daughter’s mom,” Ellie explained. “He walked in on his ex-girlfriend and another guy in bed together.”
The final red flag is that he’s not been paying for anything and has been asking Ellie for money to fix up his home to prepare for her arrival. She has given him around $5,000 so far for home renovations. She claims, though, that it’s not a lot of money for all of the home repairs. Ellie’s friends are worried that she is going all-in for Victor, who is by no means a safe bet.

Two years later, Ellie is packing up and moving to a tiny island of Providencia to be with Victor. 90 Day Fiancé fans are frustrated with Ellie for what they believe is ignoring all of the possible red flags that Victor is exhibiting. One Reddit post had a photo of Ellie with the caption, “How many red flags are too many red flags when you ignore all the red flags?”
Another user commented, “There are plenty of men in Seattle she can date. Why is she giving up her whole life to move to Providencia with a man who gives off tons of red flags?” More fans agreed, writing, “Ellie, there are red flags right in front of your face! How can you be so naive and ignore them? Find an attractive dude in Seattle. You shouldn’t give up your mouthwatering pizza for some guy in Providencia who cheated on you!”

Ellie is doing everything she can to trust Victor. However, from the teaser for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 3, things between Ellie seem to take a turn for the worst. As they’re trying to rebuild their home after the category five hurricane, the pair argue about financials.
In the teaser, it seems that she’s regretting moving to Providencia. She tells the cameras, “This is not what I signed up for.” In another clip, she says that she will pack up her bags and leave the island. She said that moving in with Victor was “the opposite” of what she expected.
While Ellie’s friends tried to warn her that Victor has proved himself to be not trustworthy, she has decided to go through with the move anyway. Since it’s teased that she will live in Providencia, many fans are hoping she will come to her senses quickly. Ellie and Victor’s journey will continue on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 3.
