’90 Day Fiancé’: Fans React to the Trailer for the Second Half of Season 2 of ‘The Other Way’
90 Day Fiancé has numerous successful spinoffs, and one of those is certainly The Other Way. After one more episode, the series will take a short break until October, when it will return for a jaw-dropping second half.
Fans couldn’t be more excited after watching the trailer for the upcoming episodes. Read on to learn what fans are saying about the most talked-about moments from the trailer.
What happens in the trailer?
It looks like The Other Way stars will be dealing with quite a lot. In a new sneak peek of upcoming episodes, it’s clear the second half of season 2 is going to be explosive. The trailer starts with Deavan Clegg asking Jihoon Lee if he’s ever cheated on her. “I just wonder if there’s more going on that I don’t know,” Deavan tells the cameras.
In Mexico, Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio struggle to speak with Armando’s dad when they arrive for a visit. “He doesn’t want to come out or what?” Armando asks.
“I’m worried about my dad,” Armando tells producers. “I just feel like he’s trying to avoid us.”
Brittany Banks and Yazan’s drama isn’t over
Next, Brittany Banks and Yazan are still dealing with drama. Brittany talks with Yazan over video chat, and he asks what he’s doing with her. Brittany tells him to “Act right.”
“He thinks that he’s going to give me an ultimatum, but I’m going to give his a** an ultimatum,” Brittany says as she lounges in a beach chair. The next scene shows Brittany on a plane.
In another scene, things have calmed down between them. “I must be careful. It’s dangerous,” Yazan tells Brittany. In another scene, Brittany speaks with someone who says, “There are people who genuinely hate him now, and they might decide to kill him.” Brittany is shocked by the news, and cries in her hands.
Jenny Slatten and Sumit are up next, and Jenny tells Sumit she isn’t asking him to give up his family. “I’m not gonna give up, even if you ask,” Sumit replies.
“So are you sure that I’m who you want to be with?” Jenny asks him.
Ariela Danielle has to have a c-section
Ariela Danielle goes to the hospital and is told she’ll give birth by cesarean section. They tell her she’ll have to have the baby that same day, which is a shocking response that Ariela isn’t ready for. She lays on the operating table and tells Biniyam Shibre, “I’m not ready.”
Next, Ariela has another chat with some of Biniyam’s family, and they tell her that if she doesn’t baptize her child, he’ll go to hell. “You’re gonna let your sisters talk to me like this?” Ariela asks Biniyam. Next, we see Ariela crying and saying she doesn’t have anyone to talk to. “It just makes me want to go home,” Ariela says.
Then we have Tim Clarkson and Melyza Zeta, who are clearly still having relationship problems. Tim says he wants to know if Melyza has been sleeping with anyone else. “What for?” she asks him. She says she doesn’t need to tell him that.
Fans react to the explosive trailer
Reddit is buzzing about the new content for the second half of the season. A fan recently posted the video of the trailer to Reddit, where fans commented with their thoughts on the content.
“I also am just dying at the cheating s*** Deavan is talking to Jihoon about…,” a Reddit user wrote.
One fan feels for Ariela having to go through a c-section like that, and without her mom there probably made it so much worse. “I am not even a mom and I felt for her hard,” a fan said. “Of course I have no idea what it’s like, but just imagining that was heartbreaking. I imagine her mom wasn’t there too.”
Another fan seems to agree, and feels terrible that Ariela has to go through this ordeal. “I feel really bad for Ari. Seems like something is obviously going wrong with the pregnancy. Plus, is she there with no other support system?” a fan questioned.
A few fans mention how Melyza chooses to respond to Tim’s questions about cheating. “Melyza flexing on… [Tim] right now is hilarious,” a fan said about Melyza and Tim’s conversation in the trailer.
Fans would certainly like more information on the drama going down between Brittany and Yazan. One fan says they pity him. “I’ve hated Yazan all up until now but now I’m really pitying him,” a fan wrote.
“OK, so people want to kill Yazan, why?” a fan wonders about the situation.
Kenny and Armando have a ton of fans who want nothing but the best for them. One fan says their heart is “breaking” for them. “My heart is breaking for Kenny and Armando…,” they said.
Another fan hopes they leave Mexico to start a life in Florida. “Honestly, after that I only care about Kenny and Armando. I hope they fled Mexico and moved back to Florida to live their lives in peace as a happily married couple,” a fan wrote.
A fan thinks Jenny and Sumit didn’t get much screen time this season at all. “I swear they have barely showed Jenny and Sumit all season. Like their whole story has just been about his parents not approving of their relationship,” a fan said about the situation.
