’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Wonder Why Larissa Is Asking Her Dad for Green Card Money If She Can Afford Plastic Surgery
Larissa Dos Santos Lima is moving on from ex-husband Colt Johnson on season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. And amid her new altered body and face, the reality star is trying to find a way to stay in the country. But one thing fans don’t understand is why Larissa is asking her father for money to get a green card if she can afford to get more plastic surgery.
Larissa has a new look on ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’
Ever since her 90 Day Fiancé debut, Larissa has shown a deep interest in altering her appearance. In her first season of the show, she visits a clinic with Colt where she gets injections to make her lips look fuller.
Now, on season 5 of Happily Ever After, Larissa is unveiling a brand new look. In the first episode, she reveals that she’s had a lot of work done to enhance her face and body.
“After I left Colt’s House, I lose weight,” Larissa says. “I did butt to make bigger, I did Botox, I did my nose, I did my lips, I did my cheekbones, I did my chin. I am a new woman, and I feel very happy.”
In one of her Instagram stories, Larissa said she plans on getting more work done. She reveals that she has plans to get a tummy tuck. And in a preview for the season, it looks like she is at a clinic recovering from an augmentation procedure.
Larissa is facing deportation
After getting engaged to Colt, Larissa came to the United States on a 90 day K-1 visa. And once the two were married, she was able to apply for a green card. But now that they are divorced, Larissa’s immigration status has changed, and on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, she reveals that she’s facing deportation back to Brazil.
“Colt canceled my Affidavit of Support, he canceled my green card,” Larissa says on the show. “[That] means that I have to find another way to stay here. I have no idea what’s going to happen to me, and I’m very scared to be arrested again and be deported forever.”
“My master plan was to come to America, fall in love, bring my kids here, and have the family that I dream of,” she adds. “But the dream is fading away.”
In a more recent episode, Larissa heads to a coffee shop to make a video call to her dad. She tells him that she is scared of being deported, and asks him for advice. When he tells her to stay in America to better provide for her family, including her daughter who he is raising, Larissa asks him for $5000 to help pay for a green card application.
’90 Day Fiancé’ fans are questioning Larissa’s priorities
After seeing Larissa ask her dad for green card money, some viewers were left slightly confused. Seeing that she is able to afford numerous physical enhancements, some 90 Day Fiancé fans are now questioning the reality star’s priorities.
“Larissa got her entire face done, but is asking for money from her dad for her green card?!” one fan shared on Twitter. “Seems like her priorities are not in order.”
“Larissa had money to do her lips, boobs, and a**… But needs to ask her dad for money?” another Twitter fan wrote. “My girl, not saving up?”
“Larissa just had a bazillion dollars of surgery,” one fan tweeted. “But you ask you Dad for $5,000 for your legal bills??”
Some fans pointed out that Larissa’s father is taking care of her child. And a few suggested that rather than worry about her child’s care, she’s spending money on plastic surgery.
“Larissa asked her dad for $5,000,” one fan tweeted. “Who is paying for her plastic surgery, dance classes, etc? How about paying for her children’s care?”
“Larissa asks her dad for $5k for her green card and suddenly she has money for implants,” another fan shared on Twitter. “That money should go to your kids you abandoned.”
The reality star hasn’t really addressed the criticisms yet. But after seeing fan comments, she might explain her side of the story and update fans on social media.
