’90 Day Fiancé’: Geoffrey Opens up About His Friendship With Babygirl Lisa–’I See Behind the Scenes’
90 Day Fiancé couple “Babygirl” Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar have been a hot topic of conversation as of late. Recently, Lisa’s been criticized by fans for calling her husband the N-Word.
Fans of the show have always been concerned about Lisa’s treatment of Usman, calling her controlling and abusive. At this point, many fans are up in arms over the fact that Lisa was still invited to attend the season Tell All.
‘90 Day Fiancé‘ star Geoffrey Paschel is good friends with Babygirl Lisa
Another controversial 90 Day Fiancé participant, Geoffrey Paschel, recently spoke with The Domenick Nati Show about his friendship with Babygirl Lisa. He didn’t say anything about the behavior the show’s fans have been so heavily criticizing.
“I adore Lisa. Lisa’s a cannon, she really is. But she’s awesome and she has a great heart. She really loves that man. I mean she sincerely really loves that man,” he said.
But it seems Geoffrey doesn’t quite trust Usman’s intentions with his friend.
“As for Usman, I don’t talk to him a lot. I get little snippets. I see conversations and whatnot. But I question him. I want to believe that he’s in it for love but then, you know, you kind of weigh all the options. You really don’t know,” he said.
When the interviewer suggested that Lisa and Usman’s marriage might be an even trade, Geoffrey indicated that he didn’t agree.
“I see behind the scenes. I talk to Lisa and I see her heartache and the stuff that she’s going through and what she says about Usman. She called me today. I know she’s in love with this guy. I have no doubt about that. My question is whether Usman is totally into it. Whether he’s playing the field. Whether he’s serious about taking on seven wives or whatever it is. I don’t think Lisa really wants to be a part of that. She’ll joke about it but who really wants to be a part of that?” he said.
What 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined’s Cortney Reardanz thinks of Lisa and Usman
Another 90 Day Fiancé cast-member, Cortney Reardanz, does, however, think Babygirl Lisa and Usman’s relationship is “mutually beneficial.”
“He probably wants to come to America to advance his music career but I don’t think I see it going too far. I think it’s mutually beneficial. She has the ability to advance his career or give him a visa to the US. So I think she’s in for a surprise once he comes to the U.S.,” she said.
