’90 Day Fiancé’: Geoffrey Paschel Gives an Update on What Happened at His Court Hearing
During Geoffrey Paschel’s season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, fans of the show discovered that he’d been arrested for domestic assault in June 2019. They started a petition to get him removed from the cast. A short time later, he was uninvited from the season “Tell-All.” From the beginning, Geoffrey has maintained that he’s innocent, despite his ex-girlfriend’s claims. He recently posted to Instagram an update on how his day in court went.
Geoffrey Paschel’s court date was postponed due to coronavirus
On May 8, Geoffrey posted on Instagram that his hearing was supposed to have taken place that day but was “delayed due to the pandemic.”
He wrote that he was disappointed in the postponement and that he was “very eager to go and reveal the truth.”
Geoffrey went on to write that the accusations against him were made “with the sole purpose of sabotaging [his] custody battles.”
“At no point was there any violence exhibited toward that woman or any other woman—ever. These are merely combined battles to win their selfish war,” he continued.
Geoffrey Paschel has always been confident he’ll be exonerated
When Geoffrey was interviewed by The Domenick Nati Show on May 19, he spoke about being arrested last year.
“When I first got arrested in June it was for domestic assault, which is bad in itself but it’s a misdemeanor,” the reality TV personality told Nati. “They tried to drop the chargers but the ‘victim’ [he said using air quotes] didn’t want to drop it. She pressed forward. They offered me no punishment whatsoever just to have it on my record. I said, ‘No. Absolutely not.’ They said, ‘If you don’t take it, we’re gonna take you to the grand jury, try to trump up the charges, we’ll try to get you on kidnapping…’ I was like, ‘You do whatever the hell you want to do. I am not accepting anything other than a full exoneration.’ So that’s what they did.”
Geoffrey said that he used to respond to every comment and DM he received about the accusations against him.
“You’re gonna call me a woman beater or something like that, I’m like, ‘No, no, no, no! Hear me out.’ Individually, I would stay up all night messaging these folks and saying, ‘I did not do that! This is the case, this is the situation. You know, think about this for a second. Use some common sense,'” he said.
