’90 Day Fiancé’: Geoffrey Paschel Says He’s ‘Happy That [He’s] Still Being Talked About’
Geoffrey Paschel starred in the fourth season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Viewers watched him try and make things work with his Russian girlfriend, Varya Malina. Their relationship had its ups and downs, to say the least.
Geoffrey Paschel’s relationship with Varya Malina on ’90 Day Fiancé’
When Geoffrey fist visited Varya in Russia, things got off to an awkward start. Even so, he eventually proposed and she told him “not yet.” Geoffrey took the answer to mean that they’d broken up and returned home to begin dating his friend Mary. However, a couple of months later, Varya showed up at Geoffrey’s door in an effort to get their relationship back on track (while Geoffrey admits he was trying to ghost Varya, Varya didn’t think they’d broken up). After a heated reunion, Geoffrey decided to end things with Mary and got back together with Varya.
Though Geoffrey and Varya ended their season engaged, fans aren’t sure about where they stand today. Some fans believe Geoffrey is still with Varya. Some believe he’s with Mary. Others think Geoffrey is back to being a bachelor.
The trio has remained quiet about their relationship statuses because they’re still under contract, according to Geoffrey.
Geoffrey is pleased with his loyal fan base after ’90 Day Fiancé’
Even though the season is over, Geoffrey is pleased to find that he is still in the spotlight.
“I’m happy because I’m still being talked about,” he said on Instagram live with Domenick Nati on July 13.
At the same time, Geoffrey says he’s “not trying to ride the wave.”
“My season has aired. So, right now, my season has finished. So I’m not trying to ride the wave. People are always saying, ‘Why don’t you go live anymore? Why don’t you go live anymore?’ I’ve kind of passed the baton to the next group of people,” he said.
But even though Geoffrey has “passed the baton” to the next set of reality stars, he can’t help but notice that his Instagram lives still have a higher attendance than some other franchise alums.
“I think it’s cool that I can go on live and still have 500 people. I think that’s pretty awesome. I was watching one of the prior castmates going live, who has more followers than me, and they only had 100 and some odd people yesterday. And I looked at that and I thought, ‘Well, because I take care of my people.’ I’m not afraid to interact, message, respond to every comment, whatever, with my people. And I think that’s why I have a true base of people,” he said.
