’90 Day Fiancé’: Geoffrey Paschel Says He Likes to Date Women Half His Age
90 Day Fiancé fans were introduced to Geoffrey Paschel on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, where he was trying to make things work with his Russian girlfriend, Varya Malina. The couple finished the dramatic season engaged, but there’s been some question as to whether Geoffrey and Varya are still together.
Why Geoffrey Paschel turned to a Russian dating site to find a girlfriend
When Geoffrey was interviewed by The Domenick Nati Show on June 13, he was asked why he sought out someone overseas to date.
“The reason that I kind of played with it, toyed with it in my mind is that here, where I live, I go for the same type of women. I mean, that’s why I’m in the position I’m in now. I get these partners that I think, ‘Oh, I can help them. They need this, they need that. Let me fix them. I can be that person. They just need a good, strong shoulder to cry on’–whatever. I got in that fixing rut and so I wanted something completely new. And that’s why I actually really contemplated Varya and toyed with it for five or six months before I saw her,” he said.

Since Geoffrey and Varya didn’t attend the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days “Tell-All” and the two are still under contract, fans are still in the dark when it comes to if they’re still together. Some fans think Geoffrey and Varya are still together. Some fans think Geoffrey ended up with his friend Mary Wallace. And some think Geoffrey is single and dating around.
When Geoffrey and Nati went live on Instagram on July 13, the radio host asked the reality star about the age of women he likes to date.
“For men, they say you should date someone half your age plus seven. So that would be 27 for you,” said Nati.
“Around there, yeah,” said Geoffrey. “I like to think half my age only.”
“Oh, you don’t like the plus seven?” Asked Nati.
“No, I like to keep my options open,” replied Geoffrey.
The controversial reality star says he’s not sure of the ideal age for him. He’s been with older and younger women and neither worked out.
“I married an older woman once. She was like six or seven years older than me. It didn’t work out. Tried somebody younger than me, didn’t work out. I tried somebody around the same age as me, didn’t work out. I don’t know where else I can go anymore,” he said. “I think there’s one problem. I think it might be just me.”
