90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After fans are seeing how Jess Caroline and Colt Johnson fought over Colt’s relationship with Vanessa Guerra. But now that the two are broken up, Jess is taking to social media to reveal her side of the story. In a recent post, she called Colt “trash” and claimed that he manipulated her just so she could finish filming the show.
Jess was suspicious of Colt and Vanessa from the start on ’90 Day Fiancé’
As seen on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Jess has been suspicious about Colt’s relationship with Vanessa from the very beginning. In one episode, when she meets up with friends, she hints that she thinks Colt may be lying to her.
“He says he won’t hurt me, but there’s a woman that calls him all the time,” Jess tells her friends. “He says she’s a friend from the gym.”
Jess then tells producers that she’s been questioning Colt about Vanessa, but he insists they are just friends. She doesn’t seem to fully buy it, and asks why Vanessa calls Colt so much if they are just buddies.
“I’ve been friends with Vanessa since I was going through my divorce with Larissa,” Colt reveals in a confessional. “We started talking online about my troubled marriage, and she was there to help me through it. Jess has never met Vanessa, but I think she thinks I’m having an affair with her.”
On ’90 Day Fiancé’ Colt admits he had a sexual relationship with Vanessa
Colt may have tried to convince Jess that he and Vanessa are just friends. But when talking to producers on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, he admits that they once slept together and that he still has feelings for her.
“I had sex with her, just one time, and honestly, I have a crush on her,” Colt says. “I think she’s a great girl, but I don’t think she returns the favor, so I moved on.”
Jess finds out that Vanessa is staying at Colt’s house in Las Vegas
As soon as Colt told his mother Debbie about his romance with Jess, she started wondering if Jess was trying to marry Colt for a green card. So, knowing that Vanessa is a sore spot, Debbie purposely tells Jess that Vanessa is staying at their home in Las Vegas to watch their cats.
Jess tells producers that Colt convinced her that he stopped talking to Vanessa. But with Debbie revealing the opposite, Jess realizes that he’s been lying. She gets visibly upset, and storms out of the hotel room.
“I do feel guilty that I didn’t tell Jess that Vanessa is at home babysitting the cats,” Colt says. “But at the same time, Jess gets really jealous, and I just didn’t want to fight with her. And Jess is starting to lose it. I know I lied to her, but right now, Vanessa, she’s just a good friend.”

In a recent Instagram story, Jess shared screenshots of Colt and Vanessa’s text conversations. Apparently, Colt sent her these screenshots when they were dating to prove he wasn’t talking to Vanessa anymore. In the texts, Colt seems angry, asking Vanessa why she won’t leave him alone.
“This is the proof how they lied and manipulated me the entire time,” Jess wrote. “When I started to suspect about their affair, I questioned him and he sent those screenshots to me. He is a liar, a cheater, a piece [sic] of trash hiding under his mother skirt.”
But according to Jess, Vanessa told her that Colt faked these messages to keep Jess at bay. She claims that he did this just so she would finish filming this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.
“Later Vanessa told me he called her and both agreed to fake the conversation, this way I would calm down and he could finish the season with me,” she added. “Then after that they could be together (like they are now.) What hurt me the most in because they knew what they were doing and made me involve [sic] my family on this circus.”
