’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’ Tell All: Kalani’s Mom Slams Asuelu for Being ‘Irresponsible’
Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa admit that they are still having issues on the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After Tell All. And after Kalani exposes him for his carelessness during the pandemic, her mother, Lisa, slams Asuelu for being “irresponsible.”

In the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After season finale, Kalani reveals that she asked Asuelu to leave because he wasn’t following COVID-19 pandemic protocols. She buys him a ticket to Washington and asks him to ride the pandemic out with his mom.
Then, in the Tell All episode, Kalani says that Asuelu decided to come back on his own without talking to her first. When host Shaun Robinson asks Asuelu why he came back, he says it’s because he missed his kids and wife.
But even after being sent away, Asuelu is still not taking precautions. He admits that he is still going to dance practices and playing volleyball. And Kalani suggests that he justifies this behavior by nitpicking at small things she does.
However, Lisa points out that Asuelu isn’t making mature decisions. “I feel like it’s irresponsible,” she laments. “He’s irresponsible, period. He wants to do what he wants to do, period. He doesn’t care about anybody else but himself, period.”
“Once you get to a certain age, it’s kind of hard to teach someone to be considerate and to think about other people,” Kalani’s sister, Kolini adds. “And if you don’t have that by now, I think that’s just what we’re watching is him thinking about himself. But I can’t imagine not thinking about your family first.”

Earlier this season on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Lisa got a taste of Asuelu’s attitude first hand. During their car ride to California, he got into a tense discussion with Kalani and called her a “lying b**ch.” When Lisa tried to warn him about his tone with her daughter, he said he could talk to her any way he wanted.
After watching back the clip of the car ride, Kolini addresses Asuelu’s behavior. She notes that she’s seen it before, and now just wants the drama to end. “I’ve experienced it, so I’m not shocked by it,” she explains. “It’s just more looking forward to the day that it ends.”
When the host asks Lisa how she feels about the incident, she agrees with Kolini. “I know my daughter,” Lisa asserts. “Unless [Asuelu] is going to start changing, like he expects everyone else to, it’s not gonna last. She’s not gonna put up with this stuff. There’s no way.”
After hearing Kolini and Lisa’s criticisms, Asuelu grows angry and walks off the camera. However, as seen in the preview, he will return for Part 2 of the Tell All. And he’ll be joined by his mom, Lesina, and sister, Tammy. New episodes air Sundays on TLC.
