’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever?’: Michael Says It’s ‘Not Fair’ for Angela to Be Mad at Him
Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi have had their fair share of fights on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?. But in the most recent episode, Angela gets extremely upset with Michael over something she thinks he did, but he insists it’s “not fair.”
Angela’s friend arrives in Nigeria on ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’
On the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Angela’s best friend Jojo joins her in Nigeria. She is the only one from Angela’s circle of family and friends there to attend the wedding. And Jojo tells producers she’s going to keep an eye on Michael to make sure he’s marrying Angela for the right reasons.
“I’m the first person to meet Michael that’s part of Angela’s life,” JoJo says. “It just concerns me what his intentions are, going to the United States…if he’s going to be a good spouse and a good role model to the grandkids — and that he lives up to what he says he’s going to do.”
And Michael knows that Angela takes Jojo’s judgment seriously. So he’s hoping to make a good impression.
“I’m worried that JoJo might come see me and disapprove of me,” he says in a confessional. “I hope JoJo likes me because I know JoJo’s opinion is important to Angela.”
Michael’s friends take Angela and Jojo to a nightclub
Angela and Michael are just days away from their Nigerian wedding. So Michael’s friends decide to take them out to a nightclub for their combined bachelor/bachelorette party.
But when they get to the club, Angela is unhappy with the women dancing around the club. She decides to let it go and have fun with Joj by her side. However, after a few hours of drinking and partying, Jojo and Angela catch Michael eyeing one of the female dancers.
Angry, Angela yells at Michael and storms out of the celebration. “It hurts my f***** bone to think that this man I fell in love with, that knows I don’t like him and other women, would let this happen,” she tells Jojo.
“I don’t want my man when I go out here to pay attention to anyone but me,” the 90 Day Fiancé star then tells producers. “And that’s who I am.”
Michael says Angela’s anger is ‘not fair’
On their car ride home from the club, Angela is livid with Michael. She tells Jojo that her age is an issue because Michael is so much younger.
“I’m 54,” she says. “My age is a problem because he’s young. And then you’re going to do that in front of me? And then tell me you didn’t do it?”
But Michael insists he did nothing wrong. “Angela was just accusing me of looking at women dancing,” Michael says to the camera. “I wasn’t. To be honest, she overreacted. I was just like concentrating on my fiancé.”
“There’s nothing wrong in there, it’s a club,” he adds. “People just go there to have fun. So I feel it’s not fair for her to be upset at me.”
Angela tells Michael that the wedding is off. But like their previous fights, they may be able to get over this one as well. Fans will just have to wait and see how things unfold as this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? continues.
