’90 Day Fiance’: How Big Ed Really Feels After His Breakup with Rose Vega
Is it really the end of Big Ed Brown and Rose Vega’s relationship? The 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days couple has had their fair share of ups and downs, but on the most recent episode, Vega decided she was done with Brown. Brown claimed to be desperately in love with Vega and want to marry her, so how is he doing after the breakup?
Trouble in Big Ed and Rose’s relationship
Brown and Vega’s relationship was sort of doomed from the start because Brown just couldn’t seem to tell Vega the truth.
“So, I wasn’t completely honest with Rose about [my height] and a couple of other things,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s never a good idea to lie. You have to be honest and I’m learning that even if you have strong feelings for someone, it’s better to get it out in the open. If not, it’s gonna come back and bite you.”
Then, when he met Vega, he insulted her housing situation, wanted her to take an STD test, and demanded that she shave her legs. He did, later, apologize for the way he acted about her leg hair after fans came for him. But he wasn’t done yet. Later, he gave her a toothbrush and mouthwash after telling her that her breath stunk.
The breakup
Brown knew that Vega wanted more children. She made it very clear that she wanted two more kids, but he had no interest in having more children. In fact, he had even made an appointment to get a vasectomy before coming to the Philipines. Though he had known that he didn’t want more kids for some time, Brown neglected to tell Vega until he had already been in the Philipines for a while. When she found out, she couldn’t understand why he would have kept that information from her.
“I should have been more truthful,” Brown told Vega. “I apologize. I should’ve said I don’t want more kids, but I wanted to get to know you. I wanted [you] to get to know me to make sure we are compatible.”
But it was too late for apologies and Vega broke up with him.
I know who [you are]. I think,” she said to him. “First [you] lied to me about [your] height. Right? Then, you want to give me an STD test right? And about mouthwash, why you tell me? You know I [am] sick, I have [an] ulcer.”
“I’m disappointed because you always embarrassed me,” she continued. “I think [you] don’t love me. I’m done.”
How is Ed feeling after the breakup?
On the show, Brown seemed positively shocked that Vega would break up with him. But now, the star is doing much better. He recently made a video to update fans on how he was feeling.
“What’s up, man,” he said. “It’s Big Ed here, obviously. Just taking all this in. It’s been a crazy journey. We’re about three episodes out before season 4 is done. I got to tell you it’s been a wild ride, been a lot of fun. I love all the respect and love I get from all my fans. It feels good. It feels really really. I’m just happy. I’m really happy.”
