’90 Day Fiancé’: How Does Lana React When David Murphey Gives Her a Surprising Item?
On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, things heat up between David Murphey and Lana. David continues to try and make things work with Lana, who seems a little uncomfortable to say the least. This week, David surprises Lana with some gifts. Read on to learn how she reacts.
David is still trying to make things work with Lana
They’ve finally met, but there’s a lot to be desired. David is craving more affection from Lana, but he doesn’t seem to be getting it the way he would like. He wanted Lana to go back to his hotel room, but she said it was a bit early for all that. After seven years of talking together, you’d expect a little more emotion coming from Lana. David clearly wants things to work between them and he’s willing to do anything, including dismiss any allegations against her. It’s awkward watching the two communicate via phone translation because Lana speaks so little English.
David gives Lana a surprising item
David really wants to get off the website where he met Lana, and he’s tired of paying for it when they can talk in other ways. They get together for dinner and Lana still seems out of place and not really connecting with David, however she says she’s there because she feels a romantic connection, which might be surprising for fans to hear.
She tells him she’s glad they’ve finally met, and he tells her he’ll have to leave soon. Lana also says she wants to leave the website and he tells her he is in love with her and he gives her a cell phone so they can communicate easier and more efficiently. But she doesn’t seem super thrilled with it like David expects her to be.
“This phone will allow us to communicate without the website any time of day. We’ll have video chat on here also. Everything you need. Do you like it?” David asks. He also asks what the issue is based on her initial reaction.
“If it helps us to communicate without the websites then I can accept it,” Lana tells him, which is a strange response. David seems pretty happy about it though and they go on a walk together.
David leaves, but not before asking Lana a very important question
Despite all the issues and shady behavior, David decides to propose to Lana before he leaves Ukraine. He tells the cameras he doesn’t want to go and he wants more time with Lana now that they finally met on his fifth trip over there. He wants to be engaged, and before he steps on the plane, he decides to ask her to marry him.
He turns to leave, but he decides to come back and get on one knee. He says he doesn’t want to go and he tells her he loves her and asks her to marry him. She says yes and David puts the ring on her finger. David proclaims he now “has his girl” as Lana shows off her new ring to the cameras.
