’90 Day Fiance’: How Fans Forced Ash Naeck Off of Social Media
Reality stars go into their shows thinking that fame will be great, but often find out that the opposite is true. The cast of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days is subject to mocking and ridicule from the moment they sign their contracts. Several members of the franchise have called out fans for their harsh comments. Many of the stars are able to take it in stride, but some eventually decide they no longer want to interact with the public. Ash Naeck is the latest 90 Day star to take a break from all of the madness and leave social media.
Ash’s relationship with Avery
Naeck and Avery Warner had a very toxic relationship even before the 90 Day Fiance cameras started rolling. When the show started filming, Warner was living in Seattle with her two daughters and Naeck was living in Melbourne, Australia. Naeck claimed to be a relationship therapist but after watching him on the show, several fans felt that he seemed more like an escort than a dating coach.
Naeck claimed that he worked with successful women who did not have time to find men. Over the course of the series, he talked to several women and it’s hard to see how he helped them other than constantly offering compliments.
From the moment Warner arrived in Australia to visit Naeck, she was unsure of Naeck and whether he was telling the truth. On the most recent episode of the show, Warner found 62 messages on Naeck’s phone from multiple women. When she confronted him about it, he told her that he was single.
Backlash against Ash
Fans have been quick to call Naeck out for his behavior and the shadiness of his job.
“‘Ash:”it’s mostly women that are very successful and don’t have time to meet men,'” one fan tweeted, mocking Naeck. “That sounds like an escort to me.”
“Ash is a con man!” another person wrote. “His mouth twitch and crazy eyes show he’s hiding the truth!”
Most fans were in full support of Warner and completely suspicious of Naeck.
“Averys skin is f*cking flawless,” one fan said. “And ash for sure has a secret. And it has to be a bad one.”
And people were not too thrilled when Naeck said he was single after Warner had traveled across the world and left her children to be with him.
“The real side of Ash jumped out with the single comment, even he was surprised,” one person wrote.
Ash quits social media
After receiving such backlash for his actions, Naeck decided to take a break from social media, which is a big deal for him considering that his line of work requires him to be pretty active on Instagram.
“Everyone, thank you for the support and the great messages received,” he wrote on his Instagram story. “The events of the past eight weeks hit me today, I was not in any way prepared for the intensity of what the show both good and bad brought to me. I am of the mindset to not give up, but that took a turn today and I am taking a few weeks off from social media for my mental health. Love you all.”
Warner and Naeck haven’t given an update as to whether they are still together or not.
