Sumit’s family astrologer tells Sumit’s mother, Sadhna she needs to accept Jenny
On the Nov. 7 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way (via discovery+), Sumit’s family’s astrologer came to advise them on the way they should go. They brought up the tensions that the family has been facing, the difficulties that Sadhna is facing trying to accept Jenny. He advises them to stop trying to teach them how to be acceptable in society. He tells Sadhna, “You shouldn’t interfere in someone else’s house.” He advises her, “Eat, drink, have fun. Nothing else. And Jenny will learn.”
Sadhna brings up the real issue she has with Sumit wanting to marry Jenny. She says, “Marriage means to have children, to live a good life.” The astrologer tells Sumit’s mother that it’s not her relationship and that she shouldn’t be concerned about if they have children or not. He says, “His fate is written. This is what stars do. Let’s see, it’s not your problem.”
He says, “If you meddle into their relationship, then they’ll view you as the enemy. He says, “Let him go.” He says, “If they are going to separate, you don’t be the reason. If it’s meant to be, it will be.” Sadhna accepts the astrologer’s words. She says, “If it’s written in the stars, what can I do about it.”
Sadhna accepts Jenny into her family
Sumit’s mother, Sadhna sits down with Jenny one-on-one ahead of her return back to her house. She tells Jenny, “The astrologer made me understand a lot of things.” Sadhna says, “I want to say that you are a very good-natured person.” She says, “Whatever God has written will happen.” She asks to “maintain the love” between them.
Sadhna says, “Jenny, we will love you.” Jenny tears up and gives Sadhna a hug. Sumit’s mother says, “You see, I can change for my son.” Jenny asks Sumit’s parents if they will give their blessing for her and Sumit to get married. However, Sadhna says, “We’ll see what happens.”

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans were shocked to see that Sumit’s parents so easily changed their minds and accepted Jenny into their family. However, it doesn’t look like Sadhna is going to accept Jenny that quickly. In an interview, she tells the cameras what caused her to make the decision to accept Jenny. She says, “The astrologer told me, ‘If you push him too much, then he won’t leave her at all.’ So I decided to let him be.”
Sumit’s father chimes in, “But everyone’s hope, mine, my family’s, my ancestors’. Everyone thinks that this relationship should end.” They tell Jenny that while they cannot give their blessing for their marriage. Anil says, “We are not going to stop you and we are not going to support you.”
It’s clear that Sumit’s parents are hoping that if they allow Sumit the space to make his own choices that he will choose to dump Jenny. It’s a clear change of tactics, but it appears that they might have the right idea. Once they’re out of the way, Sumit is out of excuses as to why he cannot marry Jenny. It’s possible that Sumit’s long-term plan of getting rid of Jenny just might work.
