’90 Day Fiance’: Avery Mills Is Thinking About Having Kids with Omar Albakkour
The couples on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days rarely make it to the reunion as a unit much less after the series is done. But there are a few of them who manage to stay together despite all of the obstacles their customs, families, and distance pits against them. One of the couples that had the most obstacles to overcome was Avery Mills and Omar Albakkour.
Mills’ family did not approve of her being with Albakkour, mostly because he was from Syria and they feared for her life if she decided to move to the country. Albakkour’s culture also came with strict rules that Mill’s family did not agree with. But despite all of that, the two got married and now are even thinking about having children.
Why aren’t Avery and Omar together now?
Though Mills and Albakkour did get down the aisle, they aren’t currently physically together. When they gave fans an update on the 90 Day Fiance: What Now web series, they said that it had been really hard to figure out a way for them to live in the same country. The chances of getting a visa for Albakkour to move to America were slim to none. The two have since been planning to find another place for them to live together. Mills recently gave an update on how they are doing.
“To clarify, Omar and I are happily married, but I stay in America the majority of the time [because] I sponsor Omar’s visa so I have to keep my big girl job in America, and I’m in college,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

The plan is eventually for the two to be together and to start a family. In a recent Instagram Q&A, Mills admitted that she wanted 3-4 kids and her husband wanted 2-3. They’ve already picked out the names for their children and everything.
“They are Arabic names, but my family can pronounce them easily,” she said.
But they don’t plan on starting their family until they are both finished with school.
Albakkour already has a degree in Dentistry but is now in school for Periodontology. Mills is getting her degree in Healthcare Management and attends a Muslim school “to learn Arabic and more about Islam.”
Though they aren’t in the same place, the pair seem more in love than ever.
“Omar’s heart is so pure,” she shared on her Instagram story. “He respects everyone regardless of their religion, culture, race, sexuality, or age. He’s also a man of God.”
She also complimented his intelligence.
“My husband is so smart, it blows my mind,” she said.
While Mills has a lot of things that she likes about Albakkour, his favorite thing about her is her cooking.
“Omar’s favorite thing about me is probably my lemon pepper shrimp,” she said.
Have Omar and Avery ever broken up?
With every celebrity couple, rumors always circulate about problems in their relationship. The same is true for Mills and Albakkour. But they have never actually split.
“I’m not sure why there is an article saying Omar and I aren’t together, but we are very much happily married and we have never split up,” Mills recently wrote on Instagram. “So for the people that rushed to my page to see if the tabloids were true they aren’t.”
