‘90 Day Fiancé’: Jibri’s Parents React to Miona’s Cooking — ‘The Food Is Awful’
In a preview for the May 8 episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Miona and Jibri are forced to cook a meal for his parents. However, the chicken alfredo wasn’t a hit with the family. Jibri’s father calls the food “awful.”
Jibri’s parents make Miona cook for them
On the May 1 episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Jibri’s parents meet Miona for the first time. It’s Miona’s first day in South Dakota after moving from Serbia. Jibri’s parents waste no time giving Miona and Jibri their expectations for living with them. Jibri’s mother, Mahala, tells Miona that she expects to help “take care of the house, cooking and those kinds of things.”
Mahala tells Jibri and Miona, “Maybe one or two meals a week that you guys would cook and take care of?” Miona is on board, saying enthusiastically, “Yeah, we can do that.” She continues, “I don’t know how good it’s gonna be, but we can try.” However, Jibri is not happy with his mom giving him and his fiancée orders around the house.
The Serbian beauty tells the cameras, “Jibri’s parents, they immediately gave us some rules as soon as I came.” She admits, “They’re a little bit stricter [sic] than I expected.”
Miona and Jibri cook for the family
Holding up their end of the bargain, Miona and Jibri cook dinner for his parents. They decide to make chicken alfredo for them. Jibri says, “We’re setting up dinner for my parents. They’re going to be home soon. Miona and I have tried our best to cook dinner.” Check out the preview clip below:
The Black Serbs frontman admits, “Yeah, I’m a little worried about what my mom is going to think because Miona and I do not know how to cook. I hope that they like it.”
Jibri’s parents were pleasantly surprised to see that dinner was on the table when they came home. They were not expecting to see the young couple so eager to fulfill their side of the house expectations.
Jibri’s parents react to Miona’s cooking
Jibri’s mom, Mahala, says, “This looks very interesting.” Miona says, “Thank you. Is that a good or bad [sic]?” And Mahala admits, “I don’t know.”
Mahala tries the chicken alfredo and says to her husband, Brian, “Are you going to give it a try?” After some silence, Miona asks Mahala, “Is it terrible?” She replies, “It is edible.” She asks her son, “Have you made alfredo before?”
To the cameras, Jibri’s parents don’t hold back. Mahala says, “The food is really bad.” Brian says, “The food is awful. I’m not sure if the chicken is actually chicken… maybe rubber?”
Miona tells the cameras, “I wasn’t necessarily hoping that they [are] not going to like it, but at least they know what to expect.”
Could this be Miona and Jibri’s way of trying to get out of cooking? 90 Day Fiancé fans will have to watch to find out what happens next on Miona and Jibri’s journey.
