’90 Day Fiancé’: Why Is Jihoon Lee Under Investigation for Child Abuse?
Jihoon Lee has had a rough time since filming for 90 Day Fiancé stopped. He appeared on seasons 1 and 2 of Before the 90 Days with his estranged wife, Deavan Clegg. Unfortunately, since filming ended, the two have separated and Clegg has moved on to actor Christopher ‘Topher’ Park. Now, Lee is under investigation for alleged abuse against Clegg’s daughter, Drascilla.

When Clegg left Lee in Korea, she took their son Taeyang as well. Since then, Lee has been pleading with fans to help him find a way to see his son again. But that has become difficult as Clegg has accused Lee of abusing Drascilla while they were all living together.
“Jihoon’s trying to act like it’s Drascilla’s fault and that’s why he pulled her hair, but he’s making it sound like it was just like this [light tug on hair] like ‘don’t hurt the other girls.’ No, it was 3 a.m., and I’m not even kidding. It’s like [a chunk] of her hair was gone. It was just one pull at 3 a.m. I heard her scream and I went to go see what was going on and then all that bad stuff happened,” Clegg recently told All About The Tea.
The two are currently involved in legal proceedings regarding the alleged abuse, meanwhile Lee is still trying to work to get his son back. One of Lee’s fans started a GoFundMe to help Lee pay for legal support.
“Hello, this is Jihoon,” Lee wrote in an Instagram story captured by CinemaBlend. “I am overwhelmed with the support I’ve received in getting the opportunity to be in my son’s life. I have made mistakes but am trying to improve for the future. I appreciate all that are willing to help me see my son. If you are able to donate to the GoFundMe set up for me and Taeyang, I thank you and if not, I appreciate your support.”
The investigation against Jihoon Lee
Since making the allegations against Lee, Clegg has stuck to her story and recently claimed that he police found evidence to back her up.
“Police have received the evidence of abuse and are taking it very seriously and working with us closely,” Clegg told Us Weekly in a statement on Monday. “The investigation is ongoing, so we will not be able to speak further.”
Lee and his legal team have continually denied the rumors.
“Deavan herself indicates that she was not there when it happened and so given the length of time between the incident and her lack of first-hand knowledge,” Lee’s lawyer, Joseph Alamilla said in a statement. “He denies the allegations and is actively seeking documentation concerning any alleged proof.”
Lee’s legal team is also seeking answers as to why Clegg waited so long to bring these allegations forward if she was really worried about her children’s safety.
“She did not make a complaint while she lived there and only filed the complaint after he filed his answer and counterclaim in this case,” Alamilla said. “We are presently seeking to obtain records of the actual complaint and should have an update after we receive the documents. It is unclear why she would wait so long to make such an allegation, but again we should have more information soon.”
