Ella and Johnny’s journey on ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’
29-year-old Ella, from Idaho Falls, Idaho, has always been attracted to Asian men and Asian cultures. On a dating site exclusively for white women seeking to meet Asian men, Ella met 34-year-old Johnny from Jinan, China. Ella calls him her “Asian Prince” and hopes to take the next step in their relationship by having him move to the US to be with her.
After months of getting to know each other online, they planned to meet. However, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic keeping China’s borders closed, they agreed that they would meet in the US. The plan was that Johnny would leave everything behind in China, including his job, his aging parents, and his son, Stoney, to start his life with Ella.
The plan was that Johnny would go to the US with a two-week quarantine in Singapore. After finding out he was denied his visa to Singapore, they had to rethink their plan. Ella, unwilling to wait any longer, had an idea that they could meet in Dubai. However, he backed out after his family became concerned about traveling mid-pandemic.
During the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days tell-all, Ella revealed that she had cheated on Johnny with a male friend. Johnny forgave her and even took the blame for her infidelity.
Johnny is coming to the US to meet Ella in ’90 Day Diaries’ Season 4
In the trailer for 90 Day: Diaries Season 4, Ella reveals that Johnny is finally coming to the US to meet her. Ella tells the cameras, “Johnny should be here in a week, and I am beyond excited.” Check out the trailer below (via Instagram):
Ella’s friend asks her, “Do you think Johnny’s actually going to come this time?” She replies, “It is kind of like a do or die.” Based on Ella’s response, this is the last chance for Johnny to prove he wants to be with Ella. However, after Ella cheated on him, does he still want to be with her?
Are Johnny and Ella still together?
During 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Ella and Johnny had a tough time in a long-distance relationship. Between the travel delays and the cheating, this couple struggled to stay together. However, based on their Instagram activity, there are indications that Johnny and Ella are still together.
Johnny and Ella still follow each other on Instagram. Also, the photos they posted of each other remain on their respective pages. However, it’s unclear if Johnny is currently in Idaho with Ella. The last post on Johhny’s Instagram shows him in China on April 23. Ella avoids fans’ questions about Johnny; instead, she keeps her posts about ranch life.
Perhaps Johnny isn’t allowed to tell if he’s in the US with Ella or not. Fans will have to tune into 90 Day: Diaries Season 4 to find out the actual status of their relationship. Hopefully, this time Johnny and Ella will finally meet.
