’90 Day Fiancé’: Julia Trubkina Reveals Her Own Health Struggle Amid Critics Saying She ‘Didn’t Care’ About Ron’s Illness
Julia Trubkina is used to getting a lot of heat from fans of 90 Day Fiancé. Some people have felt that Julia has gotten in the way of her husband Brandon Gibbs‘ close relationship with his parents. Since it was revealed that Brandon’s dad, Ron, was ill and needed Brandon to move back home, fans have been berating Julia to be more considerate. Now, Julia has a message for those fans.
Brandon Gibbs’ dad is sick
Ron and Brandon’s mom Betty have been trying to get Brandon and Julia to move closer to the farm since the two moved out on their own. However, during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After Season 6 Tell All, Betty revealed that she and Ron actually needed Brandon to move back to help out with the farm while Ron dealt with his illness.
“We don’t know how much longer we’re going to be able to do this just by ourselves, and Ron’s in the process of retiring,” she said.
“He’s had a few health issues, this might take its toll on him for a while until he’s finished with his treatments,” Betty continued.
Ron also elaborated on his health.
“I’m a pretty strong guy, I’m doing some different medications and things like that to get over it,” Ron added. “I expect to have a complete, full recovery, and that’s just me.”
After the Tell-All, Brandon updated fans on his dad’s health by posting a picture of his family at the Flying Squirrels Stadium.
“Thank you all for worrying about my dad,” he captioned the post. “We appreciate it! 🙏 he is doing ok, but he doesn’t want to talk about it and we will not either.”
Julia slams ’90 Day Fiancé” fans and reveals she’s dealing with her own health issues
Julia recently appeared on Pillow Talk with Brandon. During the Sep. 13 episode, some viewers began wondering if her thyroid was swelling. She addressed the issue on Instagram.
“Guys after Pillow Talk I have received so many messages of kind people, thanks for your support,” she wrote.”I don’t like to talk about my health with no one, but thank you for worrying!”
In the comments’ section of her post, some fans accused Julia of not being concerned about Ron’s health.
“But you didn’t care about Ron’s health issue during the Tell All,” the person wrote.
“If I don’t say and show everyone what I care about and how I care it doesn’t mean that I don’t,” Julia responded. “Not all people put their emotions and actions on display to be heroes. I have to take pictures and say look, today I brought Ron oranges, look how great I am. Do you think this is how it should be?”

Even though Julia has still been getting criticism from fans, she and Brandon may have already moved back to the farm. In a recent post on Instagram, Julia and Brandon started off the video standing in their apartment and then they sneezed and were back on the farm. Many fans thought this may have been Julia’s way of updating fans on their living situation.
