’90 Day Fiancé’: Karine Staehle Thinks That Going to Brazil ‘Will Help’ Her Relationship With Paul Staehle
On the newest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Paul and Karine Staehle head to the airport to go back to Brazil temporarily. After struggling to make a life in Kentucky, Paul has decided to take his family back to Brazil. It’s what Karine wants, and it will make her happy, since she gave him an ultimatum to find a job in two months or she was going back to Brazil. After speaking to an immigration lawyer and the deadline for Paul to find a job has come and gone, the couple decides to return to Brazil for a little while.

The moment has finally arrived, and Paul packs up his life with his wife and son, Pierre, into suitcases and bags. Karine tells her husband not to stress, but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Paul is hoping that his wife won’t give up on the idea of living in America in the future. He wants this to be a temporary visit, but will it be?
Paul asks his wife if she’s “excited,” and she admits that she is. For anyone who has been watching the series for a while, this seems to be the happiest Karine has been in a long time. She’s actually smiling, and can’t wait to get home.
Paul says it’s “bittersweet” leaving. “It’s definitely bittersweet with us leaving America right now,” Paul tells producers. “I’m hoping we’ll go back to Brazil just to visit, but I’m really worried that Karine will get home and want to stay there permanently.”
Karine thinks that going back to Brazil ‘will help’ her relationship with Paul
They arrive at their destination, and Paul struggles to get all the luggage inside the airport.
Karine tells producers that she’s “super happy” to see her family. “I’m super happy to see my family because I miss being with them,” Karine says. “I don’t know how long we are going to stay in Brazil, but I’m super excited because we’re all going back to Brazil as a family.”
Paul has a tough time finding the passports that are needed, but he eventually locates the necessary documents so they can board the plane back to Brazil. Despite the hurdles, the family is now ready for their journey to begin.
Karine says that she thinks returning to Brazil will benefit her relationship with her husband. “I didn’t know that being here in America, our relationship would be under so much pressure,” Karine continues. “And I think that returning to Brazil will help my relationship with Paul. I hope it’s all our family needs.”
Paul’s mother, Mary, barely makes it in time to say goodbye to the little family. She holds her grandson, clearly sad that they are leaving. Before they go their separate ways, Mary tells her son that if he gets stressed, to “breathe.”
Karine doesn’t regret her move to the United States, and leaves room for a return in the future. “I don’t regret moving to America because we tried,” Karine tells the cameras. “But it’s time for us to go home to Brazil to visit my family. After spending a little time at home in Brazil, we will think about returning to the United States.”
It sounds like Karine is open to returning to America. We’ll have to wait and see how things play out in the series.
