’90 Day Fiancé’ stars Kobe and Emily Argue Because He Refuses to ‘Share Breasts’ With His Own Son
90 Day Fiancé couple Emily and Kobe have different views regarding breastfeeding their son, Koben. However, it doesn’t look like they plan to budge on their opposite stances. In addition, Emily’s current sleeping situation includes her and Koben with no room for Kobe. Here’s how it all played out.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ star Emily gave birth to Kobe’s son 17 months before he arrived in the United States
One of the more controversial decisions this season’s couples on 90 Day Fiancé came from Emily. Emily insisted she and Kobe spend a night alone in a hotel on his first night in America. Emily thought she and Kobe needed some alone time to reignite the spark in their relationship. Because Emily lives with her parents at the moment, she was afraid she and Kobe wouldn’t have much time for intimacy once they settled into their everyday lives. However, Kobe had yet to meet his son for the first time, and many fans felt Emily’s decision was selfish.
90 Day Fiancé star Kobe met Koben the following day, and fans watched as he teared up when meeting his son for the first time. However, at only 17 months old, Koben seems to have a hard time adjusting to having Kobe in his life daily.
Kobe refuses to ‘share breasts’ with his son
90 Day Fiancé couple Kobe and Emily’s views on breastfeeding differ significantly. Emily has no problem pumping her breastmilk in front of her family, including her father, while Kobe wishes she would be more discreet. The two argued over this in front of Emily’s parents less than 24 hours after Kobe arrived at the house.
When Emily starts to pump, Kobe says, “Babe, is this really happening? This is not normal. You can’t be doing this, like, in front of your parents as well.”
Emily’s shocked at Kobe’s reaction and tells him she’s pumped in front of her parents for 17 months and sees nothing wrong with it. However, Kobe doesn’t believe because her parents don’t mind her pumping that it’s right. On top of that, Kobe sees Emily’s breasts as sexual objects and not just a necessity for the nourishment of his child.
Kobe tells 90 Day Fiancé producers, “She’s going to be my wife, and we make love, you know, and I have to suck her breasts because I love breasts, to be honest. Alright? So, I can’t be sharing breasts with my son.”

Later in the episode, Emily and Kobe prepare for bed with Koben. Since Koben’s birth, Emily and Koben have slept in the same bed. Now that Kobe’s finally arrived, Emily believes his presence and the change in Koben’s routine keep the toddler from falling asleep. After several minutes and no progress with Koben falling asleep, Emily asks Kobe to sleep in the spare bedroom.
“Emily telling me I might not get to sleep on the bed is really discouraging,” Kobe says. “I’m frustrated because we talked about these things when I was back in Cameroon. She told me the bed was too small, and I’m like, ‘If you think the bed is too small, please, before I get there, try to get a bigger bed.”
