90 Day Fiancé’ Is Larissa Dos Santos Lima Returning to the Franchise?
Larissa Dos Santos Lima was one of the biggest stars in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Her relationship with her partner at the time, Colt Johnson, was dramatic and toxic and just what viewers wanted to see. Even after they divorced, Larissa continued to do 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs. Last year, the model was fired from the franchise. But is she ready to come back?
Why did Larissa Dos Santos Lima get fired from ’90 Day Fiancé’?
After 90 Day Fiancé, Larisa appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? with her fiancé Eric Nichols. But last year, after doing some adult film work, she was let go from the franchise.
“Dear Friends and Followers, I want to make a statement for you, I’m no longer a cast member of the show ’90 Day Fiancé,’” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “Because of my show with CamSoda, I was released from my contract with TLC by phone the day before ICE arrested me. I will continue producing content for my official channels on Instagram, OnlyFans, and Youtube. Thanks for your understanding, love, and attention.”
How did Larissa feel about being fired?
Despite being famous for 90 Day Fiancé, Larissa was happy to leave the franchise.
“I was ready and happy,” she said to blogger John Yates of how she reacted to being fired. “People think we are on reality tv and we like the clout. Yes, it opens doors.”
She went on to say that being part of the franchise wasn’t always great.
“It was affecting my mental health,” she said. “It was affecting the way that I see my body because the bullying that you suffer online is all the time. It’s women bullying women all the time. So I thought, ‘wait I can do my OnlyFans, don’t be famous, make my money, and don’t have to deal with that.’”
Larissa was ready to leave before TLC even made the decision.
“I was tired of working and filming for hours and they just show two minutes,” she told Yates. “I was tired of being attached to my ex. I wanted a new beginning.”
Would Larissa come back to ’90 Day Fiancé’?
Every now and then, Larissa holds Q&A sessions on her Instagram with her fans. In one recent session, a fan asked if she would be open to coming back to the franchise if they offered her a contract.
“Today, I am very happy where I’m at in life,” she answered. “If you asked me 7 months ago, I might would say: yes. Today, I have no drama, nothing to be ashamed of, or pretend I’m not.”
Larissa has seemingly moved on from the franchise.
“I made new friends that aren’t ’90 Day Fiancé’ related, but am still friends with the ’90 Day Fiancé’ people that matter,” she said. “So my life is now very lowkey and I can finally be myself and see who is there for me and not for likes, shoutouts, or because I was on television.
“Too many things happened with the network and I think both are very happy to be away from each other,” she continued. “No hard feelings.”
