’90 Day Fiancé’: Laura Jallali Warns Nicole Nafziger About ‘Loser’ Azan — ‘Do Not Make the Same Mistake I Did’
90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger has been in Morocco with her fiancé, Azan Tefou (aka Hassan M’Raouni), since March, and she has left behind her five-year-daughter May in Florida. This has prompted Laura Jallali to reach out to Nafziger on social media and warn her about making the same mistakes she did.
Lauren Jallali wants Nicole Nafziger to reunite with her daughter
During Season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Jallali’s left the United States — which meant leaving behind her son Liam O’Toole — to be with her now estranged husband, Aladdin Jallali.
This decision was a big mistake, and Jallali begged Nafziger to return home to her daughter after Nafziger posted a pic of May on Instagram. The photo featured the five-year-old looking off-camera while holding a bowl of Spaghettios, and in the caption she wrote: “This is the cutest sleepy face I’ve ever seen.”
This led Jallali to tweet: “[Nicole] honestly, you need to return to your daughter. Do not make the same mistake I did, she needs her mom and these men are just users. He has a wife and children. Forget this looser [sic] and come back home to the [people] who really love you.”
The ’90 Day Fiancé’ star fires back at Lauren’s advice
Nafziger responded to Jallali’s tweet, and told her that she is sorry for what happened to her, but she doesn’t need to be told what to do.
“I’m sorry for what happened to you but I would never tell another cast member how their situation is because I don’t know and I don’t know anyone’s story. Please make no mistake, my situation is not yours,” wrote Nafziger.
She went on to say that Jallali should know as a former 90 Day Fiancé star not to believe rumors that are spread by liars. Nafziger claimed that she missed her daughter more than anyone could know, and no one knows how much they call each other.
The TLC star promised she would reunite with her daughter when the “right moment comes,” and her daughter and family know that she will be home soon.
The right moment, might be sooner than 90 Day Fiancé fans thought it would be. On July 25, Nicole shared a picture with Azan on Instagram with a caption saying she would reunite with May soon.
“So happy to have had this extra time with you, my love [red heart emoji] But soon I’ll get to see my little girl and I’m also very happy and excited for that [red heart emoji].”
The pandemic changed Nicole Nafziger’s travel plans
According to In Touch Weekly, Nafziger originally traveled to Morocco in March to enjoy a short vacation with Azan and visit him in his native country while her mother took care of May. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic halted travel, Nafziger found herself stuck abroad.
The 90 Day Fiancé star claims that a travel ban has made it impossible for her to return home because tickets are too expensive, but the United States government has offered free repatriation flights from Morocco back to the U.S. so Americans can get home. Still, Nicole has remained in Europe.
“I’ve never left my daughter behind because she knows I’m still with her no matter what,” Nafziger tweeted to Jallali. “Everyone can judge me for being a bad mom and think what you want. But I know my life and how it is. And when the time is right, I’ll show more of it. Thanks.”
Nafziger claims that she “Facetimes with May almost every day,” and her mom Robbalee has defended her daughter’s decision to stay in Morocco for the past four months. She says that when it is safe to travel, Nicole is looking forward to coming home to her daughter.
New episodes of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise air Sunday and Monday nights on TLC.
