’90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise’ Season 2 features new LGBTQ couples
On May 4, TLC announced the return of 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise. The season 2 cast includes two returning couples from season 1, Aryanna and Sherlon and Amber and Daniel. In addition, three new couples are joining the cast, two of which are part of the LGBTQ community. Check out the trailer below:
First, there’s Daniele from Yonkers, New York, who met 6’7″ fitness instructor, Yohan on a trip to the Dominican Republic. Second, there’s the first gay couple of the spinoff, Valentine from LA, who fell in love with a hunky Colombian man, Carlos, online.
Last but not least, Frankie from Nashville, TN, fell in love with a bisexual couple, Abby and Gaby, making them the franchise’s first-ever polyamorous triad.
Frankie meets Abby and Gaby
While on a trip to Mexico, Frankie met a bi-sexual couple, Abby and Gaby. The two Mexican women have been in a relationship for over ten years and have opened it up. The three ended up having a threesome. And the rest is history.
After five days together, vacation was over for Frankie. He went back to Nashville and resumed his regular life. However, he continued the open relationship with Abby over video chat. The two fell in love, and now Frankie plans on returning to Mexico. Frankie plans to propose to Abby and bring her to the United States on a K-1 visa.
What to expect from ‘Love in Paradise’ Season 2
According to the press release for the new discovery+ show, there’s a problem standing in the way of Frankie and Abby’s happily ever after ending. It reads: “Gaby has no idea. Will the couples be able to work things out, or will both the friendship and romance fall apart?”
In the trailer for the upcoming season, Frankie tells the cameras, “I’m going to Mexico to propose to my girlfriend. The only problem is, my girlfriend has a girlfriend.”
It seems like everything blows up. Gaby is yelling at Abby in the trailer, “We were two. We decided to include Frankie, and then he stabbed me in the back.”
Could Frankie end up with Abby, Gaby with Abby, or all of them end up alone? Fans will have to tune in to 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise Season 2 to discover what will happen next.
90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise starts streaming on discovery+ June 10.
