’90 Day Fiancé’: Michael Ilesanmi Finally Arrives in U.S. in Next Episode of ‘Happily Ever After?’
Michael Ilesanmi and Angela Deem are celebrating a major milestone in the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? After years of fighting to get Michael a visa, he finally arrives in the U.S. in the June 30 episode of the TLC show.
Angela welcomes Michael to the U.S. in the next episode of ‘90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’
In a clip shared by ET, Michael and Angela are together on U.S. soil for the first time in their years-long long-distance relationship. Though the couple married in Michael’s native Nigeria in 2020, they struggled to get his visa approved. The difficult situation led to tension between the two, with Angela even wondering at times if Michael was conning her.
Those accusations of Michael being a scammer were apparently forgotten as he reunited with Angela at the airport.
“I’m so happy,” Michael says as he greets his wife.
“Let’s see some patriotism now you’re a Nigerian-American,” a smiling Angela says as her husband dons a stars and stripes jacket.
“We’re home babe,” she adds as she and Michael walk out of the airport.
Michael and Angela’s journey has been long and rocky, but the last steps happened fast.
“We’ve been through a lot, you know,” Michael tells a producer. “And I appreciate my wife for her strong patience. She’s said she’s not gonna leave me until the visa gets approved. But to God be the glory, after the administrative processing, after two weeks, it has been approved. It was quicker than I thought.”
“Finally, home sweet home,” he adds.
Are Angela and Michael still together?
In the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? clip, Angela and Michael are all smiles as they look forward to their life together in America. But it seems the honeymoon period didn’t last.
Michael reportedly arrived in the U.S. in December 2023. By late February, he and Angela had apparently split up, with Michael fleeing his wife’s Georgia home with no warning, she said. In comments and videos shared online, she again suggested that Michael had scammed her.
Meanwhile, Michael eventually resurfaced on social media. He hasn’t directly commented on his and Angela’s relationship status. However, he has hinted that the truth of the couple’s story would eventually come out.
“I don’t fake anything! SMH,” he commented on a May 2024 post from the 90dayfianceupdate Instagram account.
“I don’t talk bout you, please do not talk bout me,” Michael wrote on his Instagram Story on May 19. “[Nasty] attention seekers smh. Can’t wait to tell my side!!”
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC. Episodes also stream on Max.
