’90 Day Fiancé’: Michael Ilesanmi Takes Angela Deem to a Strip Club—And She’s Not Happy
90 Day Fiancé star Angela Deem is infamous for her jealous ways in her relationship with her younger Nigerian husband-to-be, Michael Ilesanmi. So going to a strip club together might seem out of the picture for Angela and Michael—but it looks like it wasn’t.
In a new sneak peek of an upcoming episode of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Michael and Angela headed out for what looked like a joint bachelor/ette party. When Angela found out the venue was actually a strip club full of pole dancers, she wasn’t pleased, but it seems like she came around in the end.
Angela was appalled at the sight of the strip club at first
In a 90 Day Fiancé sneak peek, Angela and Michael—along with Angela’s friend, JoJo, from the U.S., and several of Michael’s friends—headed out for a night on the town just before their wedding. But when they arrived, the club ended up being a multi-level strip club. For her part, Angela was shocked.
“When I arrive to this club, all I see is women, strippers, half-naked,” she complained to 90 Day Fiancé producers.
“I’m really p*ssed right now,” Angela complained, calling it “bulls*it.”
“Like, did you really bring me and my friend to a club like this?” she marveled incredulously.
Angela and Michael have had multiple fights over the years over his attention to other women, so it’s not surprising that she wasn’t happy about the choice of venue. In fact, Michael hooked up with a local Nigerian woman early on in his long-distance, online relationship with Angela, which affected their overall sense of trust.
The 90 Day Fiancé stars have also discussed (and Angela has nixed) the possibility of polygamy, which is legal in certain cultural and religious contexts in Michael’s home country. Angela even questioned representatives from the Nigerian marriage registry about the legality of “side chicks.”
The ’90 Day Fiancé’ star decided to stay anyway
Although Angela is best-known among 90 Day Fiancé fans for storming out of just about every destination in Nigeria, she uncharacteristically decided to stay, have fun, and keep the peace.
Of her reasons for staying, Angela explained that she wanted to “make a positive out of this damn negative.”
Still, the 90 Day Fiancé star wasn’t about to lower her standards for Michael’s behavior just because it was a bachelor/ette party. Angela made it clear that she expected Michael to be on his “best behavior” all evening.
“He better steer clear of them women and keep his eyes on me,” Angela exclaimed. “Besides, if I can’t trust him dead in front of my face, then what the hell am I doing marrying him?”
The bride-to-be seemed to warm up to the venue as time went on
After Angela’s initial shock wore off, the night seemed to get a little more fun. Michael, Angela, and their friends settled into their VIP suite with drinks and started to let loose.
Angela joked to JoJo, “That’s the only penises we’re gonna get to see,” as she asked Michael and his friends to don penis-covered gag crowns.
The 90 Day Fiancé couple didn’t seem to be interested in the exotic dancers, as Michael had one of his own: his bride-to-be. Angela started gyrating and grinding on her future husband as the music pumped, and the DJ announced their names.
Of course, with Michael and Angela, there’s always a possibility for drama as the night wears on—so Michael not have been in the clear just yet.
