’90 Day Fiancé’: Are Michael Jessen and Juliana Custodio Still Together? Juliana Alludes to Split, ‘It’s Really Hard’
Every season of 90 Day Fiancé, there are a few couples who fans think are doomed from the start. In season 7, it was Michael Jessen and his fiancé Juliana Custodio who fans were unsure about. Given their age difference and Juliana’s youthful appearance, many fans thought she was after Michael’s money. But the duo proved fans wrong and got married and actually seemed pretty happy together for a while. But now, there may be trouble in paradise.
Are Michael and Juliana still together after ’90 Day Fiancé’?
This week, Juliana posted a video to her TikTok account that had fans concerned for her relationship.
“Stop ask if I’m still married,” the text on the since-deleted video read.
“Everybody keep asking me if I’m still married,” she said.”It’s really hard and I’m not ready to talk yet. So when you guys find out, you guys going to hate me forever. Everybody is going to hate me forever. That’s why I’m being a little weird.” she said.
Fans were quick to comment their opinions.
“There is your answer,” one person wrote. “She clearly isn’t or she would have said ‘yes happily.”
When another person commented about Juliana being in America, she revealed that she’s not even in the country, which fueled the rumors of her split from Michael even more.
How did Michael and Juliana meet?
Michael and Juliana were one of the most popular couples on 90 Day Fiancé Season 7 because they were just so different from one another.
“My fiancé’s name is Juliana,” Michael told People of how they met before the season premiered. “She’s from Goiania, Brazil. Juliana and I met at a big yacht party that a friend of mine was throwing in Croatia. There were a lot of celebrities there.”
“I remember when I first saw her. She’s beautiful, amazing body — I don’t necessarily believe in love at first sight, but it’s like we were kindred spirits,” he continued.
Originally, Michael applied for a tourist visa for Juliana to come to America but when that was denied, they started the K-1 process which would require them to get married within 90 days. When the season premiered, people were quick to accuse Juliana of trying to get a green card, but Michael never cared.
“It’s never bothered me at all because living in it, I understand it,” he told E! News at the time. “And if I could understand from an outsider’s perspective there would be many judgments that people would leap to and that doesn’t bother me one bit. People are welcome to think, feel what they want to. We’re together, we love each other, it’s very much real.”
Michael and Juliana’s family situation on ’90 Day Fiancé’
Another reason fans were unsure if Michael and Juliana would last was the fact that Michael was still so close to his ex-wife, Sarah. But instead of making things weird, Sarah befriended Juliana and even officiated Michael’s wedding.
“Despite what’s reported about her not liking Juliana, her and Juliana get along really well in real life,” a source told In Touch. “Sarah has moved on and is engaged to be married. She’s happy for Michael that he found love again with Juliana.”
Michael and Juliana even quarantined together for part of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, so it’s surprising to hear Juliana talk so cryptically about the relationship.
