Divorce rumors began after Juliana posted a cryptic TikTok video, hinting that she and Michael are no longer together. In a now-deleted TikTok, Juliana says, “Everybody keep [sic] asking me if I’m still married.” She continued, “This really is truly hard, and I’m not ready to talk through yet. If you guys find out, you guys gonna hate me, forever. Everybody’s gonna hate me.”

Michael Jessen’s $1.19 million home in foreclosure
Midway through the season in July of 2019, Michael splurged on a $1.19 million home in Connecticut to have room for his two children and his bride-to-be, Juliana. The 90 Day Fiancé couple wed in the backyard of the beautiful home. However, according to Starcasm, Michael’s house is in foreclosure.
According to the site, “Michael made a $250,000 down payment on a 30-year mortgage. That left him on the hook for $945,000.” They obtained court documents that revealed Michael stopped paying mortgage payments on the house in April 2020, not even a year after buying the home. Was money the cause of Michael and Juliana’s rumored split?
The investor and entrepreneur met Juliana at a star-studded yacht party in Croatia. Michael revealed he gave Juliana his credit cards, and with it, she bought herself a car in Brazil. Michael picked her up from the airport in a stretch limo and gave her a $4,000 necklace upon her arrival in the United States.
Many fans have speculated that Juliana and Michael’s split coincides with Michael’s financial trouble. However, there is no proof that they have even split as of yet. One thing is for sure, Juliana will be getting a cut of what’s left of Michael’s fortune, as Juliana and Michael agreed not to sign a prenuptial agreement. In 2019, Michael’s net worth was estimated at $1.5 million — but there is no telling what Michael is worth in 2021.
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans believe that Juliana was only with Michael for his money. Did their marriage collapse under the strain of Michael’s financial struggles? It’s difficult to say for sure. However, there’s no denying that their relationship did revolve around lavish gifts and money.
