‘90 Day Fiancé’: Natalie Calls Mike a ‘Monster’ on Season 8
Natalie Mordovtseva, a 35-year-old from Ukraine, and Mike Youngquist, a 35-year-old from the small town of Sequim, WA, will return to TLC on the 90 Day Fiancé season 8 premiere on Sun., Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. EST.
Fans first met Mike and Natalie on 90 Day Fiancé season 7. The couple’s religious differences and underlying issues with the K-1 visa process led them to fight frequently, leading to quite the rollercoaster ride in their relationship.
In TLC’s teaser trailer for the upcoming season, Natalie and Mike appeared to be at odds once again – and nowhere near resolving all of their issues before tying the knot.
Who are Natalie and Mike?
When Natalie and Mike first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season 7, they revealed that they’d met through introductions by mutual friends. K-1 visa complications led Mike to move to Natalie’s home country while they went through the process, but things didn’t go as smoothly as the couple hoped.
Each scarred by a past divorce, both Natalie and Mike wrestled with distrust, doubts, and suspicions while they prepared to get married. Mike wondered if Natalie was keeping something in her past from him when it came to her visa. Meanwhile, Natalie disapproved of Mike’s atheism, especially because she hoped to raise her future kids in the church.
At the end of season 7, the couple seemed to be estranged after several explosive fights. Natalie even refused to tell Mike she loved him in a now-infamous interview with TLC producers. But they eventually made up, and Mike decided to bring Natalie to the U.S. to live with him at last.
Natalie admitted the couple was ‘fighting’ yet again
With less than three weeks to move to the U.S. permanently due to visa restrictions, Mike and Natalie seemed rushed and nervous when it came to their upcoming marriage in the 90 Day Fiancé season 8 trailer. Mike, in particular, seemed overwhelmed by the hasty process.
Even Mike’s mom warned him against making any moves he might regret when it came to his future bride.
“Why haven’t you unpacked your suitcases?” the 90 Day Fiancé star’s mom asked the couple in the teaser trailer.
“Because me and Michael [have been] fighting,” Natalie admitted sheepishly, letting it slip that she and her fiance were at odds yet again.
Mike’s mother told TLC producers she had serious doubts about the future of Natalie’s relationship with her son – let alone a marriage for life.
“My son has already been hurt by all of this, and it probably wouldn’t work out in the long run,” she predicted sadly.
Mike appeared to send Natalie back to her home country
Later in the 90 Day Fiancé preview, Mike appeared to send his fiancée back to her home country. He led a tearful Natalie to a taxi and appeared to offer her a somber, regretful farewell.
“I’m really sorry,” Mike said grimly as Natalie got into the back of the cab.
“You’re sending me home?!” Natalie exclaimed with tears streaking down her face. “I don’t know what to say. I’m honestly scared, but I have to leave the country because I’m illegal here.”
“I’m sorry about everything, OK?” Mike said again, turning away.
“Michael is [a] monster,” Natalie told TLC producers as she burst into sobs.
After all of their visa complications, the couple had just a few weeks to tie the knot. The sudden rush might have put pressure on Mike and Natalie’s already strained relationship – possibly driving them to their breaking point.
