’90 Day Fiancé’: Natalie Mordovtseva Says She’ll Pray for Geoffrey Paschel, Fans Livid
90 Day Fiancé star Geoffrey Paschel was found guilty of the charges laid out against him by his ex-girlfriend, who he physically assaulted. Now, with the reality star facing jail time, fans of the show are finally feeling vindicated after their frequent requests to have TLC remove Geoffrey from the show. However, Natalie Mordovtseva seems to feel sympathetic toward Paschel, despite his criminal behavior. Fans are not feeling impressed with Natalie for her comments about his situation.
Geoffrey Paschel was found guilty of three charges
90 Day Fiancé villain Geoffrey Paschel was recently found guilty of the charges laid out against him by his ex-fiancée.
“Paschel grabbed the victim by the neck and slammed her head against the wall several times. She was also thrown to the ground and dragged,” read the D.A.’s statement. Geoffrey also stole her phone and refused to allow her to leave the residence or call for help.
She was able to eventually sneak out of the house and hide with a neighbor, who called the police. Geoffrey was violent during his arrest, attempting to kick out police car windows.
Geoffrey has been found guilty of aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault, and interference with emergency calls. He will face between 12 and 30 years in prison. Many fans of 90 Day Fiancé have been hoping to see Paschel pay for his criminal behavior, especially when the accusations levied against him were leaked during his time on the show.
Some fans even started a petition to have Geoffrey removed from the show, and TLC only acquiesced for the show’s finale.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ cast member Natalie Mordovtseva wishes him well
Geoffrey Paschel and Natalie Mordovtseva appeared to have a friendship, with the two even playing up a joke that they were seeing one another at one point. Their prank video was an April Fool’s Day joke that showed Natalie seemingly running to Geoffrey, only for her to end up hugging a tree.
The 90 Day Fiancé stars are close enough that Natalie wished Geoffrey well amid his guilty verdict. She took to her Instagram story to tell her reality television friend that she is praying for him.
“I couldn’t believe yesterday [sic] tv news. I will pray for you Geoffrey Paschel,” she wrote, along with three praying hands emojis and the hashtag “everything will be ok.”
Natalie also posted a photo of herself to her Instagram alongside a caption about not disrespecting or disregarding others who are hurt and fighting, seemingly referencing Geoffrey.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ fans are not happy
90 Day Fiancé fans were already annoyed with Natalie Mordovtseva when she decided to record a video with Geoffrey Paschel. Her Instagram story about his guilty verdict has only incensed them even more.
“She should have said what she said to Uncle Beau… ‘No, I’m sorry I will not keep in touch,’” joked one Redditor.
“That’s nice. Where in her religion does it say to abuse others the way he did? Is she also praying for the women that were abused?” asked another user.
“The facts don’t lie, he is a monster and you supporting or praying for a man that beats women (almost to death) is despicable. I hope you and all the other women that protect men who hurt women seek help, remember it could be you, 1 in 3 women globally experience violence from men,” wrote an Instagram commenter.
“Hello no. You [don’t] have to support someone who is suffering if they BEAT AND ABUSE WOMEN. Shame on you. Unfollowing. Hope everyone else does too,” added another Instagram user.
