’90 Day Fiancé’: New Star Ed Cheated During First Marriage
90 Day Fiancé is coming back with the fourth season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. And it turns out that there’s already some major controversy brewing about some of the show’s new stars. Recently, it’s been discovered that Ed, one of the new stars on the show, was previously married — and that the marriage failed due to him cheating. Part of his storyline appears to revolve around trust issues, which may strike fans as ironic given his history. Additionally, another of the stars, Geoffrey Paschel has recently been hit with charges of kidnapping and assault.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ star Ed cheated during his first marriage
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 4 has us meeting Ed, a man who says he’s been single for almost 30 years. However, Ed thinks he’s found love in Rosemarie, a 23-year old woman in the Philippines.
However, as reported by Soap Dirt, Ed has not always been single. In fact, the 90 Day Fiancé star was previously married. Ed’s marriage only lasted for two years however, as it turns out he was unfaithful to his wife.
However, Ed did have a child with his ex-wife, Tiffany. Tiffany is now 29, and Ed seems to suggest that raising his daughter is why he put dating on hold for almost 30 years. He says that he and Tiffany are “are two peas in a pod,” and adds that “she’s the best thing that I have created on this earth.”
At one point, during the extended trailer, Ed is seen talking to Rosemarie about their pasts. It seems as if Ed may be divulging his past mistakes to her. However, Rosemarie doesn’t seem as able to open up, as Ed tells her, “If you’re not going to talk about your past I can’t trust you.”
Rosemarie tears up after the conversation — it remains to be seen what secrets she may be keeping from Ed.
Geoffrey Paschel faces assault and kidnapping charges
Meanwhile, Ed isn’t the only 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star under recent scrutiny. Geoffrey Paschel, who will also be debuting on Season 4, was recently hit with some serious criminal charges.
As reported by Fox News, Geoffrey Paschel has had charges of aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault, vandalism, and emergency call interference levied against him.
Paschel is claiming that the charges are part of a campaign against him launched by an ex-girlfriend. He believes she intends to sabotage an ongoing custody battle he’s having with a different woman.
Paschel was arrested in June following his ex-girlfriend’s report that he attacked her in the home they cohabited in. She claimed that Paschel “repeatedly bashed/slammed my head into the hardwood floors of my home.” She also claimed that he threw her into walls and furniture, and disabled the phone.
Darcey Silva makes a return to ‘90 Day Fiancé’
90 Day Fiancé fans may be excited to hear that Darcey Silva will be making a return to the TLC franchise. The reality television mainstay will also be appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days.
It seems as if she and Tom Brooks have some unfinished business to discuss, though it remains unclear what exactly that is, given the two are rather publicly broken up. However, the trailer does show her asking Brooks, “Isn’t there something you have to tell me?”
