’90 Day Fiancé’: Nicole Nafziger Still Seeking Escape From Morocco
90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger made the questionable choice of flying off to Morocco to visit Azan Tefou just as the coronavirus situation started heating up. As a result, Nafziger wound up trapped in Morocco when the country closed its borders following the outbreak. Since then, fans have been criticizing the TLC reality star for leaving the country without her daughter, while others have been wondering if Nafziger is even staying with Tefou in Morocco. Now, it seems like Nafziger is getting desperate to leave the country, based on a Facebook post.
Morocco preparing to kick foreigners out
Whether or not Nicole Nafziger made an irresponsible choice by flying to Morocco, it seems as if the 90 Day Fiancé star is on the verge of overstaying her welcome.
As reported by Morocco World News, non-resident foreigners within Morocco’s borders will be expected to depart the country by August 10.
The news outlet reported, “According to Morocco’s Ministry of the Interior, as cited by the US embassy in Morocco, non-resident foreigners who were unable to leave Morocco within the normal 90-day limit will be permitted to exit without penalty until the end of Morocco’s state of emergency on August 10. Those who do not leave before the specified time may need to go through a legal process of fixing their immigration status and could be subject to fines or imprisonment.”
Nicole Nafziger posts about her situation on Facebook
Given the fairly severe punishments for not leaving the country by August 10, it perhaps comes as no surprise that the 90 Day Fiancé star is starting to feel worried about how she can exit the country.
90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates captured a Facebook post made by Nicole Nafziger in a page entitled “US Citizens trapped in Morocco.” Nafziger wrote, “Has anyone traveled from a different city to Casablanca for their flight since they closed Casablanca from traveling in or out? What did you have to get to travel to Casablanca? Something from the police or from American embassy? Thanks.”
Another post by Nafziger read, “Has anyone bought a ticket from royal air Maroc for today, tomorrow, or the Wednesday (3th, 4th, 5th of August) that had their flights canceled [sic]?”
Regardless of the details of her visit, it seems as if Nicole Nafziger is scrambling to get her ducks in a row in order to leave the country. Her posts seem to suggest that this might be the first time during her entire stay that she’s trying to figure out how to successfully leave the country.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ fans react to Nicole Nafziger’s concerns
As usual, 90 Day Fiancé fans seemed unimpressed with Nicole Nafziger’s efforts to find her way out of Morocco.
One user pointed out that Nafziger has had ample time to work out how to leave the country. They wrote, “For the amount of time she’s been there she should have figured this sh*t out. She’s such a child.”
“Maybe she should have come home months ago just like myself when the embassy was helping people instead of leaving her child. Stay there Nicole and wait for the Moroccan police to teach you a big lesson. Then maybe just maybe she will learn,” suggested another user.
Meanwhile, some folks seem convinced she never went to Morocco in the first place. One user wrote, “Lies! She’s probably in the U.S but wants to stay relevant and lies about being stuck in Morocco!”
