’90 Day Fiancé’: Nicole Nafziger Finally Responds to Claims That Azan Tefou Is Married
Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou’s relationship hasn’t been easy. Since they appeared on 90 Day Fiancé, fans have doubted the legitimacy of their union. There have even been rumors going around that Tefou might be married and have another family. For a while, Nafziger tried to ignore the rumors, but now she is finally setting the record straight.
Azan and Nicole’s relationship
Tefou and Nafziger never seemed to quite be on equal footing. When she first arrived in Morocco, Tefou didn’t seem happy to see her. After she returned to America, the two called off their wedding.
“They have no plans for a wedding,” a source told RadarOnline at the time. “He can’t get a visa. She’s talked about going back to Morocco, but she doesn’t have money. She has to save.”
People accuse Azan Tefou of being shady
Instead of using Nafziger’s money to move forward with the wedding, Tefou said that he would use it to open a beauty shop in Morocco. However, that shop never came to fruition. This just added to fans’ concern that Tefou wasn’t in the relationship for the right reasons.
“I am surprised the purchasing of the store takes precedence over the wedding,” Nicole’s mom, Robbalee Nafziger, said at the time. “That looks suspicious. Maybe this whole store thing is Azan’s get-rich-quick scheme.”
When fans reached out to Robbalee with concern, she admitted that she also had some reservations about Tefou but overall was going to give him the benefit of the doubt.
“I am always concerned that someone will try and take advantage of one of my children, but I have also said that he seems like a really nice person,” Robbalee wrote to a fan in an Instagram comment. “The world is full of loafers, all over the world, the only difference is he is a none [sic] working boyfriend in another country. We have them here too. I would rather have her here, but she is in charge of her own life and has to make her own decisions. I can only guide her to a better one. The rest is up to her. I love her no matter what. Thank you for your concern!”
Nicole Nafziger addresses claims that Azan is married
Nicole recently returned from a trip to Morocco. She originally only intended to stay in Morocco with Tefou for a short time but when the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic made nonessential travel difficult, she ended up staying in Morocco for months. Since she has been back, fans have been questioning her realtionship with Tefou.
When she posted a picture of herself and Tefou, some fans asked about his alleged wife and family.
“Not true,” Nicole said of the rumor in a comment captured by ScreenRant. “No matter how many times people try to spread that rumor, it still isn’t true.”
Later, she responded to more fans and defended herself.
“Yea I wouldn’t try to wreck a family either,” she wrote. “I’m not that kind of person. Y’all can think of me the way you want but I know who I am and I wouldn’t do that.”
