’90 Day Fiancé’: Nicole Nafziger Responds to Fans Who Say She’s a ‘Bad Mom’ for Choosing to Stay in Morocco
90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger has been receiving criticisms from fans about leaving her daughter to go visit her fiancé, Azan Tefou, in Morocco during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Some commenters have accused Nicole of choosing to stay abroad, as opposed to being forced to stay in Morocco.

On June 26, Nicole posted a photo of her and her mother, Robbalee Nafziger. “Missing my mom so much. She is the best mom and grandma out there. Thank you for taking care of my little girl since I can’t come back home yet,” she captioned the post.
One Instagram user commented:
“For all those saying she can’t come home, she can. If you’re American and need to get home, there are limited flights out and the American [government] is paying for the flight.”
Nicole responded to the comment, insisting that the person was wrong.
“Haha, they’re paying for it? I’d like to know where they said that because every time I’ve looked into it, it’s [2-3 times] the price of a normal flight that the passenger has to pay. Y’all think you’ve got it all figured out because of whatever you [hear], but [were] you one of the people who had to actually email the government to see? Nope,” she wrote.
“Stop judging my [life] and decisions. Just an idea. I know you won’t listen because it’s easier to pin me as a bad mom and gossip about the drama. Soon enough, y’all can take a [peek] into my real life. Maybe,” Nicole continued.
A source says Nicole is ‘doing quite well’ in Morocco with Azan
In April, a source spoke to In Touch about Nicole’s status in Morocco.
“Nicole’s doing quite well, she’s fine,” the source said. “May is being homeschooled by Nicole’s mom and step-dad right now. Of course, May’s missing her mom, and Nicole is missing her [daughter], as well.”
90 Day Fiancé fans will remember that Robbalee was initially wary of her daughter’s relationship. But she told fans that, ultimately, it’s Nicole’s life and she’s going to do what she wants to do.
“I am always concerned that someone will try and take advantage of one of my children, but I have also said that he seems like a really nice person,” she said. “I would rather have her here, but she is in charge of her own life and has to make her own decisions. I can only guide her to a better one, the rest is up to her. I love her no matter what. Thank you for your concern! May is doing great!”
