’90 Day Fiancé’: Nicole Nafziger Returns Home After 5 Months in Morocco With Azan, Still Being Torn Apart by Fans for Leaving Daughter
90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger has been in Morocco for the past five months with her fiancé, Azan Tefou. She’s been heavily criticized by fans of the show for leaving her daughter for that long, and in the middle of a global pandemic no less. Now, she’s finally back.
Some ’90 Day Fiancé’ fans accuse Nicole of staying in Morocco longer than she had to
Some fans accused Nicole of choosing to stay abroad, as opposed to being forced to stay in Morocco, as she claimed on Instagram.
On June 26, Nicole posted a photo of her and her mother, Robbalee Nafziger.
“Missing my mom so much. She is the best mom and grandma out there. Thank you for taking care of my little girl since I can’t come back home yet,” she captioned the post.
One Instagram user commented:
“For all those saying she can’t come home, she can. If you’re American and need to get home, there are limited flights out and the American [government] is paying for the flight.”
Nicole responded to the comment, insisting that the person was wrong.
“Haha, they’re paying for it? I’d like to know where they said that because every time I’ve looked into it, it’s [2-3 times] the price of a normal flight that the passenger has to pay. Y’all think you’ve got it all figured out because of whatever you [hear], but [were] you one of the people who had to actually email the government to see? Nope,” she wrote.
“Stop judging my [life] and decisions. Just an idea. I know you won’t listen because it’s easier to pin me as a bad mom and gossip about the drama. Soon enough, y’all can take a [peek] into my real life. Maybe,” Nicole continued.
Nicole hopes to return to Morocco to live there with Azan and May
Originally, the plan was for Nicole to go visit Azan for two weeks. But because the state of the pandemic worsened, the reality star was there for much longer.
On Aug. 10, Nicole posted a photo to Instagram of her and Azan wearing masks.
“I’m so happy I got to see you baby♥️ Hopefully next time I won’t have to leave and we’ll be a family with May,” she captioned the post.
Even though Nicole is finally reunited with her daughter once again, fans still aren’t on her side.
“You were there away from your daughter and you still aren’t married. Give me a break,” wrote one Instagram user on the post.
And some fans think Azan is using Nicole.
“I’m sorry but if I rewatched 90 days if I was on it and seen that he said he really don’t wanna get married to me I would of left. I would of left after sending so much money when he can work himself. I feel so bad for your daughter,” commented another person.
But Nicole doesn’t seem to be paying much attention to the fan criticism anymore. On Aug. 11 she posted that she’s “Soooo happy to finally be back with my baby girl! I missed her so much and it feels so great to get back to normal with her.”
