’90 Day Fiancé’: Nicole Nafziger Reveals She Lied About Her Store Plan on the Show
Stars of 90 Day Fiancé have come forward in the past to say everything on the show isn’t really the truth. Now Nicole Nafziger of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? revealed another lie that was told. What is it? This is what she had to say and more.
Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou said they planned to open a beauty store
Nafziger and Azan Tefou previously claimed that they were holding off on their wedding to open a business. That business would be a beauty store in Morocco.
They specifically said they had $6,000 that they were going to use toward the store instead of their wedding. Now that the couple is back on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? they have to give an update on things.
Nafziger claims there is no store and there wasn’t ever $6,000
In the Season 4 premiere, Nafziger came clean saying there is no beauty store. That’s because her sister was pressing on why she hasn’t gotten married to Tefou.
“We decided to just like, start a shop or something to get like, an income and then kinda get married,” she told her sister in the episode, according to In Touch Weekly. When her sister asked how the store is going she said, “It’s going. It’s a shop.”
She actually revealed the truth in her interview. “Even though I told my mom that we were talking about opening a store, we never winded up going through with it,” she said before adding, “There is no store.”
She said they lied because of reality TV
What does that mean about their wedding plans? Why did they really push them off?
Nafziger answered a fan question about it on Instagram. “Too much pressure, not enough time or money. You can’t rush this kind of stuff. Do it in the right moment and it wasn’t the right moment yet,” she wrote.
She also revealed on Instagram why the couple decided to lie. “Plot twist. No store = There was no 6k,” she wrote during an Instagram Q&A according to In Touch Weekly. “Why did we lie? Because we suck at reality TV. IDK. I’m so tired of this show. Sorry TLC. I”m tired of y’all. But they didn’t tell us to say it.”
Nafziger previously said this might be the couple’s last season
It might not be surprising that Nafziger has talked about being tired of reality TV. She previously hinted that her time on it could be coming to a close.
One fan asked on Instagram, “How much longer will you do the show?” Nafzinger answered, “Can’t say for sure but this could be our last season.”
Another follower asked, “Do you and Azan want to film more? Or are you kinda sick of everything that goes with it?” She said they are “tired of the drama.” She then claimed things were “exaggerated” about her on the show.
Nafzinger says the couple just want to take their time before getting married. Fans will have to wait and see if they’ll ever make it the aisle.
