’90 Day Fiancé’: Paola Mayfield Wishes Russ Mayfield a Happy ‘TV Wedding Anniversary’
On 90 Day Fiancé and its spinoffs, fans have really gotten to know and love a number of couples, and that includes Paola and Russ Mayfield. They were on the first season of 90 Day Fiancé, and they have since made appearances on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After and Pillow Talk.
The couple turned a lot of heads when they moved to Miami so Paola could start a career in modeling. They’ve since made Miami their home, and they have a son together named Axel.
The couple has been married for 7 years
According to In Touch Weekly, the couple’s actual wedding anniversary was on October 7. But Paola just recently shared a sweet message for her husband that fans are loving.
Paola, who is always one to share things with her followers on Instagram, recently shared a sweet post in tribute to her husband and 7 years of marriage. “Happy 7 years TV wedding anniversary @russ_mayfield 💖,” Paola captioned the post on Instagram.
She included the same sentiment in Spanish, and she even showed off some pictures of her wedding. There are a number of sweet shots, including one of the bridal party all together. There’s another image of a member of the television crew filming the couple dancing during their reception. There are also shots of the couple kissing, which is quite sweet. In another moment, they are seated in a carriage.
Paola and Russ’ wedding
The wedding between Paola and Russ was almost magical. In the season finale of the first season of 90 Day Fiancé, Paola steps out in a gorgeous ball gown dress. She gets in a carriage carrying pink roses, and heads to the church where she’s dropped off up front. She walks down the aisle, accompanied by Russ’ father, toward her new soon-to-be-husband, and it’s a beautiful ceremony for everyone involved.
The couple wrote their own vows, and Paola says hers in Spanish. “Today I give myself to you as wife. I promise to love you, respect you, and be loyal to you until death,” Paola recites. “Today, I can finally express how happy I am. My first, my last, my everything.”
She hugs him before Russ gets his chance to say his vows to Paola. “I vow to love you more and more each day, and as each day passes,” Russ says. He gets a little choked up during his vows, and Paola hugs him again during the sweet moment. She says she loves him, and that he’s “amazing.”
Russ says he’s going to see if he can “get through this.” “My wish has always been and always will be to keep a smile on your face and bring happiness to your life,” he says. Then, he recites the next part in Spanish: “I love you with all of my heart.”
“You will always be my first, my last, my everything,” Russ finishes in English. The couple hugs yet again, and they finish the ceremony and end up married at the end of it. They kiss, and then head off to have a beautiful reception together with all their guests and loved ones.
With pink lights streaming everywhere, the couple makes their way to the dance floor to get their groove on. They throw the garter and the bouquet on separate occasions, and it seems like everyone is having a great time. There is a lot of dancing and joy to mark the occasion.
It’s clear this couple is still just as in love now as they were back then. It’s nice to remember the sweet moment, and all the memories that have come after.
