’90 Day Fiancé’: Rose Vega Gives Fans a Tour of Her House
Rose Vega and Big Ed Brown did not make it through 90 Day Fiancé as a couple. In fact, they weren’t even on speaking terms during the reunion. Their relationship was rocky from the start but what really played a part in the demise of their relationship was their cultural differences. Brown was visibly uncomfortable staying at Vega’s house and ended up staying in a hotel for most of his trip to the Philipines. Now, Vega has given fans a tour of the house that Brown made seem so awful.
Big Ed Brown was scared to stay with Rose
Brown was aware that Vega’s living conditions in the Philipines were much different than his before visiting her.
“Oh my god,” Brown told Entertainment Tonight when recounting his time in the Philipines. “The conditions were unanticipated. I knew going in that it wasn’t going to be a pleasant experience, but I didn’t expect it to be as bad as it was. There was, like, a monsoon and the electricity went out, and it pretty much rained on me, like, ‘drip drip,’ all night long.”
Brown was nervous for his safety the entire time he was there.
“There’s exposed wires everywhere and the water was dripping inside, and the electricity kept coming on and going off, so that fan would go on and off, so, that scared me,” he said. “So, I was worried about getting electrocuted. I was getting bit by mosquitoes and my co-worker said they have mosquitoes that can fly and of course, they didn’t have any windows, and so all of that was weighing on my mind. I was just miserable.”
Brown also complained about the shower situation in Vega’s home.
“When I woke up in the morning, it looked like a thousand bullet holes were in the ceiling because the light was shining through, so that was my experience,” he told the outlet. “I wake up, and I’m already miserable and then I’m like, ‘I need to go take a bath.’ I didn’t even know where the bath was … and then sure enough, we’re going by her dad’s room and then he’s like, ‘Hey, I want to bathe with you.’ I’m like, ‘OK.’ So we walk another six feet to this 50-gallon drum of water and hence the bath scene with her dad. I’m dropping the soap, it’s surreal. Rose is sitting there hosing me off. It is freaking freezing, the water was actually really, really cold.”
Rose’s house has changed
In a new video on her YouTube, Vega gave fans a tour of her house. She has updated a lot since viewers last saw her home. When her house was featured on the show, it didn’t have windows or doors. Now, Vega has decorated the home with furniture and new flooring. The house also has a door now. She has even added some small decorative items around the house like her aloe vera plant. Since appearing on the show, Vega has also purchased a nice mattress for her and her son.
Of course, Vega could not complete the whole tour without mentioning her ex.
She revealed in the video that she painted her walls pink to make the house more positive and remove the bad spirits that Brown brought with him.
“He acts like a baby but is indeed a grown man,” she said.
